Yesterday CSC approved a lot of people!!!

I ´just can´t see Vermont doing the same...

Is there a similar page for CSC as we have for recalled VSCs?

I don´t knoe.

But there are 100 threads about yesterday´s approvals.

And they are not recalled ones.

Most of them had theiRFE-receipt date on 5th June or so

I don't believe there is a separate page for CSC recalls. As far as I know, the only threads dedicated to recalls are under the IMBRA topic. There are only a couple of CSC recalls on the chart that MEW maintains, but I don't know if that's because there aren't many at CSC , or if it's just not many are VJ members - hard to say. At any rate, none of the recent CSC approvals have been for recalls. There have been several with March NOA1s, but those were apparently part of the batch that was put on hold while they figured out what to do about the new IMBRA evidentiary requirements. I wish now I had been part of that group. At least they are getting some approvals now. Either that or I wish I had just applied in June or July - those cases are getting more attention than mine with its so-called March 6 priority date. There are only 4 recalls approved so far on VJ that I am aware of, with 3 from VSC, and one odd one from CSC. Who knows what is really going on? Probably not even USCIS - they can't even manage to get all of the recalls reopened for crying out loud. Unbelievable! BTW, I think most of the recalls yesterday and today at CSC had RFE receipt dates of July 5 -11.

There is only one pattern that is possibly emerging, when the "approvals" happen, they seem to happen in batches. As our recalled cases eventually get "reapproved or reaffirmed" or whatever the USCIS call it we still have a question of what comes next.

So far, there has been conflicting info being given out by the NVC, USCIS and our congresspeople where the petiton goes next. Is it the NVC or straight to the consulate? I plan on contacting my consulate and congresspeople immediately with proof of reapproval in order to have a backup plan. This makes me nervous because if all parties involved don't know there could be more potential for errors. I did read an earlier thread where an approved petition (with IMBRA RFE approved) was actually sent back again to the USCIS.

I don't know what to say at this point other than I am disgusted also but I will never give up on being with my love and I hope that all of us feel the same.

Immigration liaison for my congressperson today contacted me, rexplained exactly what I told her myself, and gave a canned We have no idea when it will be complete, and told me not to contact until the end of September.

I think you're talking about a case forwarded to Naples, right? Maybe they just don't deal with many K1s there and didn't have a clue what to do.

My fiance was going to call VSC today to try and find out whether they'll be the ones to send the recalled/reaffirmed petitions to the consulates, but he couldn't get a hold of them. I'll keep you guys posted.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

I'm really confused about this? where is the mystery memo?

Hidden. Apparently you have to be an AILA member to access it. So... I guess it'll remain as a mystery memo?

Yes, they have to sent the petition back so they can reopen it and only then they'll send you an RFE. Good Lord, are they slow in the Philippines or what? When did they send your petition back?

Also, you may want to take a look at this: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20652

I feel for you... Good luck!

I called VSC today. Spoke with a completely useless man who was not only unhelpful but was unfriendly. Got the standard "call back in 30 days" response. Reminded again why I don't bother calling them anymore.

08/28/08 Submitted I-751

09/03/08 Check Cashed

09/17/08 Received ASC Appointment Notice

10/03/08 Biometrics Scheduled
