Yeah, Lemcham's helped a lot with that. And so have you and american woman.

I only offer advice - not even legal. Just the plain and simple kind.

Just got off the phone with NVC (New Hampshire), spoke with Jane. They told me my case was recalled and they have it. They will be mailing it to USCIS today for further processing, hopefully it is going to the Vermont office. I don't know if this is because I contacted my congressman and they made an inquiry on my behalf. I wonder how long it takes to get from New Hampshire to Vermont?

ok, i've had it! what are we recalled going to do? everyone else is chatting up about what to do, protest, emails, websites, petitions (of course we are part of that). we've got rfe'd june noa1's whining about how looooong it's taking. please!

and i sit here checking the chart, waiting for my rfe with my thumb up my a$$!

i have been thinking about contacting the AP reporter that interviewed a vjer about imbra in mid june and ask her if she would like to do a follow-up. what do ya think?

also, i am in connecticut and joe lieberman is trying to get the democratic nomination to run for re-elction in the fall. i am going to contact him/his office about his. is anyone else from ct? if yes, interested in contacting as well? i think joe could be looking for an issue to help win back some supporters and if enough of us call, maybe, just maybe, he'll bite?

I think you´re right. Something should be done.

I was chating with Mew about it and realized that this whole thing started in early May.

So far, we have no cases reapproved from Vermont!!!!! Not a single one that we know of.

A lot of cases heven´t even been touched since they were recalled.

:angry::angry: I would like to wake all of you up. We are sitting in our homes, post notes on the Internet, create time tables and complain, but we do not do anything…

Why are all these dates so important? Does it mean anything? No! So far we have only one re-approved case, but what does it mean? How long will it take until your fiancée is invited for the interview – one week, or six months? Remember that all those Package 4 documents are good only for certain period of time. Will they ask you to submit these documents again? You know how “easy” it is in certain countries! And you need to translate them again… Do you want to get married two years from now, or sooner? Then do something about it!

You can try to do something individually, but will it really help? I have contacted two Senators from Pennsylvania. One of them did not even acknowledge receiving my e-mail. It is six days later and another one did not reply back to me. A few of you got lucky and received help from the Senators and Congressmen. But are you sure that they are getting honest answers from the NVC and the USCIS? Both of these agencies did not prove to us their honesty. They have screwed up our cases, but they are not about to work any overtime trying to fix their own mistakes. Why don’t you admit that nobody in our government cares about us…?

I do not want to start the revolution here, but I would like us to take this matter in our own hands. The following are some of the actions (on our part) that I see. Perhaps others can come up with better ideas. And, please, do not call me “paranoid” and think again about all of the above.

1. File “class action” suit against NVC and USCIS and/or

2. March on Washington and/or

3. Involve “60 Minutes”, “20/20”, or whatever else
