i'm trying to send in my i-129 packet, and am unsure of what address to list as my current address. my fiance and i live in costa rica, just as we have for our entire 2.5 year relationship. our son was born here so i am a legal permanent resident. at some point during the visa process i will have to move to the US to get a job so i can show that i can support him financially. that could happen tomorrow or in several months. should i put my address in costa rica, or my family's address in the US? i heard that i absolutely have to list a US address to show domicile, but i don't see that in any of the paperwork. i don't want to lie and my passport stamps show me being here, but i also don't want to make any real errors that will cause delays. any advice would be most welcome. thank you!

I am sure that there are others here who are much more knowledgeable about this subject, but if I were you, I think I might just go ahead and get married in Costa Rica and do the DCF thing and ask my parents to sponsor us. You'd still have the domicile/support issue to deal with, but at least you and your fiance/husband wouldn't have to wait as long to jump through all the immigration hoops.
