Biometrics and Affidavit Question

Hello everyone, I haven't been on this forum for over a year and a half, so excuse my questions if they seem obvious. Here they are:

a) My wife and I are in the process of filling out the I-751 application. It states that the biometric service costs $80.00 But I remember when my wife came here on a K-1 visa that we paid for a biometric service fee, so do K-1 visa holders have to pay for it again?

B) Do the affidavits written by friends of ours in support of the I-751 application "have" to be notarized?

c) I believe no interview is necessary when applying for removal of conditions, but can someone confirm this?

Thanks for your help,

Luis

The affidavits do not have to be notarized, but we did just to prove their signature was who they said they were. See the Guides above for example.

Yes, you have to pay for biometrics again and again for Citizenship. Sorry, they just like money.

Interview is not necessary for most.

Good luck.

a) Yes for each process you need to pay for the biometric. It is very clear in the i-751 instructions.

b. It doesn't need to be notarized, but it should be better being notarized.

c) Most cases are getting aproval withouth interview but not all. Some of them are required for an interview. You never know you can be randomly selected for an interview.
