Hi,

My fiancee will be coming with me to Pittsburgh in July or August (with any luck), and I was wondering if anyone lived nearby. I am thinking that if she had a filippina friend nearby, it might help to alleviate any homesickness.

I would be in Pittsburg this summer. My husband and I have not settled the date yet. Its just few days vacation to meet his siblings and college friends and to escape from AZ heat. :thumbs:

I am (we will be) living in Turtle Creek.

I am going to Philippines on May 30. We are still waiting for our NOA2, NOA1 was January 13. If all goes well, Bea and I will be back here in July. If not, I will be staying until August 15, then I must return. She will be here sometime this summer hopefully.

I was hoping to find some Filipinas for her to talk to, bond with, so she will not get too homesick.

She is from Samar, near Tacloban, Leyte.

Oh that's nice. I'm in Texas now but my husband will be moving to Seton Hill this July. I'll let you know if I'll be in the area. You are right adjustment can be so difficult especially without any relatives or friends nearby.
