HELP! I think im screwed up! Seeing and knowing all the required vaccinations made me think that it would take days to have it all done..So when i was asked by the doctor whether i want to do it here in the Philippines or in the US..i said..i'd rather do it there... I am so worried because i know its a hell lot of money to do the vaccination in the US...

By the way, i ahd my emdical done today, i passed..and tomorrow it will be forwarded to thr embassy so i willt ry to calll them right before they open so i could atleast hold them back from sending it through...God please help me...anyone please???

I don't understand. why do you want to hold them back?

I think it will be forwarded directly to the embassy. They wouldn't let you have a hold on that. I don't understand your worries... But what happened? were you able to hold it back this morning? :)

:)

Well, i emailed St. lukes yesterday and they said i can go back anytime before my interview date to have my vaccinations...I was tensed thinking about what they're gonna say to me about changing my mind (which is to be vaccinated here in the Philippines)...BUT..the doctor and the nurses at the 2nd floor were all so nice...and they just smiled while saying..."So, you changed your mind, huh?". Then i said yes and smiled back. Went there at 11, got out around 3:30......I was trying to figure out how they forward the results , maybe electronically, i dont know but i ahd my medical exam done in March 24-25, 2009...march 26th i emailed them about my case...and today the 27th...they were still able to pull out my records..but the girl in COUNTER E told me that day (the 25th) when my result was released, that the embassy will pick it up tomorrow (which was the 26th)...

But however they do it, im thankful that im over it.

And we also tried to call today to set an earlier appointment........NO GOOD. Its okay...

Hello, my friends! I am planning to have my medical examination at St. Luke’s in a couple of weeks. Please offer me any advice that might facilitate the exam and may actually help me pass it. Something like specific do’s and don’t’s and your experience at St. Lukes might help. Also, please post any relevant matter that might not have been covered at the Embassy’s website. Thanks.

Have enough sleep...you can go to SLEC at noon after lunch...drink evap milk every morning even a week before your medical for a good xray result. dont forget to bring black ballpen and 2x2 ID picture, and prepare for medical check up on d 2nd day bcoz ul be asked to be naked. Good Luck on ur medical and upcoming interview.

Oh well. Its good to hear that everything went well. :) Good luck to your interview. :)

By the way, they will send a packet to the embassy, not via electronic. You'll get it back after the interview but it is sealed. You will not be allowed to open it. It should be open only by an immigration officer at your point of entry. :)

Applicable lang yun for FASTING BLOOD SUGAR TEST and its not included in the medical exam sa SLEC. And just dont worry about bringing a bottle of water..they've got drinking water fountain there but if you dont trust its sterility yes u can bring some.

You really have to eat breakfast coz the med exam takes a few hours. Unless, you really want to faint on that day. LOL. But seriously, you have to eat something. You can also bring some water and crackers in case you get hungry on that day.. :)
