RFE due to sending I-864 without the DS-230

I called and spoke to an operator when the AVR told me we had received an RFE on the I-864. When I talked to the operator she told me they did not have the proof that the IV bill had been paid yet. ( I thought to myself, aren't these two irrelevant issues?) but then I did explain to her that TODAY in fact, her office received the DS-230 package and on the first page of that package is their BarCoded coversheet. I explained to her, that her system will not allow me to print that cover sheet until the IV bill is PAID. She said yes that is true and she would have her supervisor update our case to reflect the fact that the IV bill was paid. She said our I-864 package was complete with no problems.

Now if we can just get through the DS-230 without any problems (we didn't use the words "present" on question #20, we put living at such and such address through April 09, because the computer only lets you use numerals like 04/2009, so I am expecting RFE for that !) Seems ridiculous to me that they RFE you for a problem that is caused due to their own technical errors.
