Well, Govi called me about 6:00 and he passed the interview!!!!! He said the CO was very friendly, liked our photos and thought our evidence was very well organized... They took his passport and he will be picking up the visa on the 26th.

I am going to chat with him later and get more details but just feeling very happy and relieved now - 2 years of waiting and worrying and hard work finally paid off!!!! I wish I was over there to celebrate with him!!!

Congratulations. Did he appear interview in his native language? I am just curious to know.

He spoke in English but asked to have a couple of words translated from Nepali.

Awesome! CONGRATULATIONS!

Can you tell us a bit how the interview went? What questions did the CO ask? It would help those of us who've yet to undergo the interview process....

Best of luck for your future life together!

He only asked how we met, when did we get married, and for some clarification on my name change(I changed to my Buddhist name 6 years ago but my passport is still in my birth name) - that was it!! He looked at our photos and said he could tell we were in love from the smiles on our faces - guess that convinced him. :luv:
