I-751 Removing Conditions....

My wife and I are approaching the 90 days before her two year green card expires. We already have her I-751 form filled out and ready to send in. We have letters from a few friends and our landlord, a copy of our lease on the home we rent together, proof of joint checking account, a copy of our electric bill that is in both our names, a copy of our marriage license, a few photos of us together over the course of our marriage, a copy of both our credit cards showing the same account number showing a joint account, and will most likely have a print out of our interirary of our trip we are taking to germany together in may. Those of you who have gone through this process, do you think this will be enough?

This whole situation is very intimidating and very scary. My wife and I are very much in love and have a real bonafide marriage. I can't imagine her not being in my life. It's so scary to think something like this can be not approved...and then what? I'm sure I am worrying over nothing but I have read some situations where they have not been approved.

Any suggestions on something that can make this process easier on us?

Thanks so much!

Jeremy

First, go to My Assistant above and till in your Timeline.

Second, read the Guides above which has a lot of information.

Third, read on this forum and see what others have submitted. Make a list and see what else you need.

I would send the last two years of Federal and State Income Tax record. You can get Transcripts from IRS by phone.

I am sure you will find other things you may have missed. Christmas/birthday cards/letters mailed to both of you. Life insurance with the other as beneficiary.

Good luck on your journey.

Just something may be you want to add: driver's license for both that show same address, auto insurance, health insurance, life insurance. Don't forget the check for application and biometrics fee. If you have joint checking account, you might want to use a check from that account, I believe the check would show both names and current address.

How about joint tax filing? Very important thing that USCIS is looking for.

If you have enough evidence, then there is no worry about being denied, USCIS cannot deny right away, they have to either send you RFE or ask you for interview. Well... that's unless if you filed but forgot to sign the application, or forgot to sign the check, or wrong check amount, or send the packet too early or some other little silly mistakes that they might just return the whole thing to you even without processing it.

Good Luck!

Sounds like your list of evidence is OK - what most of us have - check the list HERE to get some ideas maybe you hadn't thought of.

There's a complete step-by-step in the link as well. It's always stressful but you're not alone (if that helps).
