If my interview date will be on April 22 and the filing of the new ITR is on April 15. Do you think SHE can still send the forms in just a week before my interview date?

your fiance should have done this earlier if he already knew your interview date... FEDEX or UPS should be able to get it there in time....

the us citizen is a SHE

No need to mail or use FED ex. Tax returns and W2s can be FAXED or scanned and are acceptable by USEM. Been there and done that also.!!

Also it takes about 3 weeks for IRS to have the record of filing before you can get tax transcripts.

Been thru that trip naman.

I agree with you. I faxed all the documents including 2007 tax return,W2, 1099 to USEM 2 months before our interview in July 07. The USEM was very pleased to see that I faxed them ahead of time . Besides,we had the originals at the interview. It helped a lot at the interview. The originals were put in a portfolio form. It clearly showed the CO that we were well prepared and organized. Our inteview was quick and we were out of USEM at 10:00 a.m. If I were you, I would make sure that I have the 2008 return just in case they ask for it. You can never be overprepared for these interviews. My wife and I went for AOS inteview in February and I had my 2008 return with us. The IO was impressed once agin about how we put everything in a portfolio form. Good luck on your journey.

Do you have any idea if it is a MUST to present the latest copy of the form 1040 and W-2 during the K1 Visa interview or I-134 will do? What if the latest forms(2008) are not available yet. At this, my Fiancee only have the old forms(2007). Please help!

Definetly go w/the most recent. If the 2007 return is the most recent available, then present that. Good luck

Moving this to consulate embassy forum. The I-134 is NOT required when filing the I-129F, it is needed at the time of visa interview.

OUR TIME LINE Please do a timeline it helps us all, thanks.

Is now a US Citizen immigration completed Jan 12, 2012.
