Change of Address - Form I-865 requirements

If you move, the financial sponsor (required by law) must file a Form I-865 within 30 days. This is additional to the AR-11.

I did a search here and did not find anything on the I-865 so I thought I would post this.

Our case was transfered from VSC to CSC this month and we did not receive a letter in the mail (only an e-mail), so I am a little worried about our change of address paperwork. I filed the AR-11 online (electronic form) and did receive a receipt email. We did receive a letter in the mail from the Texas Service Center saying they "updated your address in our systems and on your application or petition". But I did not file the I-865 because I did not know about it. The USCIS Online Change of Address page does not mention it.

I will go to the post office and mail the I-865 monday and will call customer service (1-800 number) to make sure everything is ok .

filed 9/9/2008 with VSC

moved 12/2008 due to Hurricane IKE damage

transfered to CSC 3/5/2009

I am confused. Who moved? You moved and you filed the AR-11. If your sponsor moves, the they file the I-865.

Are you saying you are filing the I-865 for your sponsor?
