Up to the individual. I did so on important things in large documents.

Doesn't say nothing about crumbling up all of your evidence plus the form, tossing that in a plastic bag and sending that off either leaving the officer the chore to straighten out all the evidence and organizing it.

From the stories I heard, elected to send in a booklet with subfolders, form and cover letter, green cards, joint property, joint taxes, joint ownership, letters of affidavits, joint insurance, utility bills, joint addresses, miscellaneous, etc. Our application was misplaced, but at least no loose sheets well misplaced, and everything was highlighted. We never received a RFE. This is not a requirement, but was an attempt to make the officers job easier. It's up to you.

I noticed a lot of people on here did highlight names, addresses and important headings on documents, so that's what we are going to do, too!

It's up to you!!!! I didn't do it but I organized well my papers with cover letter and descriptions.

We did not highlight anything. If they need to make a copy of a document that is highlight, it doesn't work very good. We put ours together using the USCIS guide:

Use yellow color, it's the only color that won't show on copy or fax. Don't believe it? Try for yourself.

I did not highlight anything it's up to you but just make your application look nice and presentable with cover letter explaining the contents of your application.Goodluck!

Am pretty sure during my K1 and AOS I highlighted stuff, this time around I was more lazy about my package (still included a cover letters and used an ACCO fastener) but I did circle the important info with a pencil.

Highlighting sounds like a good idea, just so the IO can easily find the info at a glance. I will also put a cover letter and list the order of the evidence in the packet. On top of this I was gong to use the sticky page markers so the IO can flip straigh tto the relevent page. None of this is esssential but it shows you are serious and if you get an IO in a bad mood and he has to actually look for something he might not find it. Make their life easier and yours will be easier too.
