After faxing a letter to my Congressman last Thursday, I was pleasantly surprised to get the email "card production was ordered today"!

It's been a LONG journey, but I'm glad it's over.

All those waiting as long as I have (or longer)... write that letter! It works! :dance:

My senator DEFINITELY made things happen with our I-751 plus for 2 of my buddys here.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

With all the frustration we had with the I-751, we jump started on the N-400 sending it in precisely 90 days before my wife's 3rd PRC anniversary. They moved a lot lot quicker with USC, she finally got her card three weeks before her interview and had to give it back four weeks when she had her oath ceremony. Each field office has a different policy on oath, some let you say it the same day as your interview. If St. Paul was that way, she would have had her ten year card for exactly three weeks, but as it was, had it for seven weeks. That amortizes out to a PRC cost of $11.12 per day, but wouldn't have minded if it cost us $25.92 per day, just wanted to get it over with.

We did bring in copies of her new PRC for her interview, we had to send in copies of her one year extension and expired green card and make yet another trip to Milwaukee just eleven months later for her 3rd set of fingerprints. Don't ask me why Milwaukee when her AOS biometrics was done at St. Paul. Like St. Paul, two blocks off the interstate with plenty of free parking.
