Timeline

If you have setup a timeline and you check it regularly you might have noticed the following:

Based on timeline data, your I129f may be adjudicated between March 22, 2009 and April 26, 2009*.

You might also be observant enough to notice the two dates are constantly changing. For instance a week ago, or maybe it was earlier this week when I last looked, the dates for this area of my timeline showed April 4, 2009 and May13, 2009. Today it shows what you see above.

Even this can be misleading because it is only based on reported timelines here at VJ. Although it is somewhat of a guide. I'm hopeful but I'm not going to hold my breath if I don't see it adjudicated by March 22nd.

Our dates started out 10 days apart and in early May. It worked all the way down to a 5 day spread for mid-March, then suddenly in the week we were approved (Feb 26th) it jumped to a 30 day spread over may-june. You really can't count on those dates.

Then again others have said they are dead-on. Your mileage may vary.

you'll find that those dates move around a lot. when we were waiting for our noa2 the dates moved from early august to late october, which is when we ended up getting our approval. i know it's disheartening to see the dates move further away but you'll get there in the end and all the waiting will have paid off. good luck. :)

Mine came 6 days after the date on the NOA2.

No touches.

No email.

According to USCIS: "As of 1/30/2009: Received and Pending." (LOL)

Actually, I think we'd all rather they spent more time approving and less time futzing about with updating online? Maybe it's just because I'm on the other side now...but I thought that way before as well....anyway, if they aren't going to do it consistently, I think rather they not waste any time on it doing it half way.

K-1:

January 28, 2009: NOA1

June 4, 2009: Interview - APPROVED!!!

October 11, 2009: Wedding

AOS:

December 23, 2009: NOA1!

January 22, 2010: Bogus RFE corrected through congressional inquiry "EAD waiting on biometrics only" Read about it here.

March 15, 2010: AOS interview - RFE for I-693 vaccination supplement - CS signed part 6!

March 27, 2010: Green Card recieved

ROC:

March 1, 2012: Mailed ROC package

March 7, 2012: Tracking says "notice left"...after a phone call to post office.

More detailed time line in profile.

it really depends on the person adjudicating your case, each one has their own way of working. congrats on your approval. :)
