That was fast but what caught my interest was the picture.. He looks like Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence.. Somewhere in between.. :)

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

For the address I listed all of the addresses since the age of 16. If you lived in an address since you were the age of 10 till 20, then I listed the address to show the 10 years, even though I turned 16 while I was already living at that address.

NVC update

I called NVC and told them I don't care about their green process as it is not working for me and I want to receive everything in the mail, that's when the rep told me that their system is having problems generating an email out to me and now it has been transferred to a supervisor so that they can manually generate an email.

Now I am at the mercy of some idiot :ranting:

Let's hope this person can resolve that for you! I am holding with them now to see if they still have these 2 systems or has it merged so as to avoid craziness down the line. I swear just when u think u are almost done :angry::angry:

SIGHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I was told we should be ok since we received the email stating the bills are ready but I was informed the paper bill was not generated, but I don't think it matters though, or at least hoping it doesn't screw us over down the road! Keeping our fingers crossed  I just want to be done with NVC at this point!! :crying: This roller coaster ride is definitely not fun!! I got a very helpful lady who didn't mind answering qs about what might cause an RFE on filling out the DS 230. Now I'm freakin out about that one!! Mainly she said # 20 is almost always the reason the document is returned to u and also leaving anything blank as u're supposed to put N/A. She said for # 20, you must include all the addresses starting with when spouse was 16 yrs old and put month-present for the most current one. Hope this helps. Q, did you do urs like that? Since u didn't get any RFEs can u please shed some light on this for us? And she did say for # 14- I would have to include my name as opposed to leaving it blank!!! Q, what did you put for # 14 address of spouse if different than ur own? She said to write my US address eventhough it is mentioned in # 10 as well. :bonk: This sucks! This whole process is so freakin' stressfulllllllllll (I need a stressful smiley). I should go to bed. I haven't been sleeping well lately!

I listed the most recent address on the first line and worked backwards, Remember for the current address you need to say what ever date you moved to that address and the to field should be the word "Present". IF you put a date in the to field for the most recent address you are sure to get an RFE. I will check question 14 for you in the morning, I don't have the DS-230 in front of me at the moment.

yeah that is what i did

Sorry not even i could understand what i wrote before

14. since my husband does not have the maiden name it does not apply , but on form i have to appear

i listend example (not real last name) SMITH born BOOI

Correction: "And she did say for # 14- I would have to include my name as opposed to leaving it blank!!! " this was supposed to read for # 21a not 14!

Thanks Aruba, u're a dear!! (F) But ur input is still appreciated. How did u, Q and Candid do these qs?

GS - I will confirm the answers for 14 and 21a for you in the morning. I don't have my DS-230 with me.

Thank you, Q. You are so sweet. I appreciate all of ur help. The same goes to Aruba and Candid for taking the time to answer my qs.

Did u guys put N/A anywhere that didn't apply to u even if say u didnt have a middle name? We left the middle name blank on the I 130 for hubby so do we leave it blank here too or put N/A? The instructions specifically call for N/A and the operator did tell me a lof ot ppl get RFEs for leaving blanks on the DS 230. MANNNNNNN I want to know why they don't have clear cut instructions for every step online for this form when they do have longggggggg instructions for the I 864?? :bonk: AGHHHHHHHH... Seren, how are u dealing with all of this headache???

Good nite lovely family. Time to turn in!

Good morning lovelies!

I am on the stressed out end of the roller coaster for now....Until my lawyer gets a move with the docs and I am cleared from NVC there will be no peace of mind  At this point, I am giving up making myself nuts with securing a May interview. If it happens I will celebrate, but for now the more realistic goal is a June date. I think wanting to rush things is making me so  and for once I think there is no point in making myself sick with things beyond my control.

Thank you Aruba for taking the time and being thourough :) . Q, PM me when u have the answers for me since ur case is already complete and got no RFEs and thanks in advance guru!

Jen, best of luck and may u get ur miracle soon!! VERY SOON! MIRACLE4JEN MIRACLE4JEN MIRACLE4JEN....

Seren, holla at ur girl and let me know how u r handling this DS 230 mess....

Candid, Happy lucky Friday to u too and for all of us waiting :star::star::star::star::star:

Good Morning everyone!!!

Here are the answers for some of the DS-230 questions posted last night: (This is how I responded to the DS-230 questions)

Question 14 - Spouses address - that should be the petitioners address, since it is the beneficiary who is filling out the form.

Question 20 - List addresses in reverse chronological order (most recent address first) and in the date range column make sure you write "Present" in the to column, otherwise you will get an RFE. The date range should looke like "1/1/1900 - Present" for the first location

Question 21a - The answer should be N/A, unless you will have someone coming with you to the US as a result of the visa application. The USC does not count in this case.

Question 21b - The answer should be N/A, unless you have someone related to you who will be immigrating to the US as a result of your immigration. (For example, your children)

Hope this helps!!

I just got an email from Bombay consulate confirming they received my K3 on 03/12/09 and have mailed out the packet 3 to me in Canada

Shout out to Queue

Does the packet 3 have to be submitted in person at VFS in Mumbai? what are the documents needed for packet 3 and what fees need to be submitted?

I had no intention of doing the K3 but NVC is making me reconsider as it is 15 days since approval and no DS3032 has been generated as of yet.
