What is the easiest way to get MNL case number? Should we wait it in the mail? Or should we call USEM in manila? or NVC? and how much time after receiving NOA2 (by email) should we wait to call

You can try just two or three days after receiving NOA2.

Contact the NVC either early in the morning, between 7:30 and 9 am Eastern Standard Time, or late at night between 10 pm and midnight. Most of the rest of the day the phone will ring busy, or you will be on hold for a long time.

Choose the option to speak to a representative. Have your USCIS case number, names and birthdates of the petitioner and beneficiary on hand and you willl get it.

You can call NVC and asked for your MNL number but then again you can't schedule your interview yet not until your case number will show up on the USEM's system.

Speak with the customer representative. Best time to call are between 7:30am till 09:30am EST. After that the waiting period is more but keep trying. Then between 6:00pm till 7:00pm EST. Infact you can call them now. Their timing are 7:30am till midnight.

I called NVC today. I received my NOA2 email notification on the mar 12th. When i spoke to the operator she asked for my case number and i gave her the case # that uscis gave me. She said its not in the system and that it take 2-4 weeks. I've heard of people calling just after 2 days amd gettign their MNL case # should i be worried that it did not get sent out? Or do i just need to give it a couple more days?

I was approved on March 2nd and I just got a case # assigned yesterday (March 17th). I think it depends on when VSC/CSC sends application to NVC and how fast NVC processes it. From what I've noticed, NVC process is getting slower day-by-day so I've stopped comparing my timeline with Jan/Feb NVC dates... Just hang in there...
