Sorry to hear you've been waiting so long!! I hope you get some kind of notice soon. I know that after a time a congressman or senator can be brought into the picture, so that's another thought. Some of them seem to have some good pull.

I looked at your timeline. I note that your NOA1 for your I-129F was 10/1/08. Mine was 10/7/08 through the VSC, and my NOA2 was issued on 2/17/09. I was mentally prepared to wait well into March, especially since I was led to believe that it might be as long as April before I got my NOA2. This is where the "randomizer" may enter into play. An immigration lawyer told me that sometimes it's just a matter of whose desk your petition lands on. Take a look at the rest of the K-1 timelines for the VSC, and I think you will see that there are about one third of the K-1's filed around your time that are still awaiting NOA2's. I really understand that this is very frustrating and what I've told you isn't much consolation, but if you didn't make any major mistakes in your petition package, it shouldn't be long now for your NOA2.

Thankyou it really does make me feel better hearing that. I think one of the emotions on this rollercoaster is paranoia, you start thinking have they lost it, is it because of this is it because of that etc... etc.... I wondered if my Fiance ( petitioners) move during the petition has had something to do with it??? But I just dont know? and most likely will never know? It may be down to fate... my son graduated from the army yesterday and I am going to meet my father for the first time tomorrow I will be 40 this year so things happen for a reason right??? Maybe i need to do a few things before its approved? Mike and I met on the 22nd of March so it would be just wonderful if it came through in time for that!!! Anyway i could go on and on as to why? thanks again for your support M x

well that is something to look forward to when I get to Texas, must carry my camera with me at all times, that would be some great photos to show my friends back in the UK

VSC is not closed on weekends. My petition was updated on a Sunday. And they work in the evening as well - my approval was 1t 6 45 pm.
