Hi everyone.

Thanks to Nola123 I found the Scandinavian forum.

I'm Danish. I came to Denver almost 3 months ago to visit my boyfriend and his two kids.

He proposed to me and we got married on May 20th very short after. It was definitely not my intention to get married so soon and here in the US, but it happened, it was beautiful, I am very happy and don't want to leave my love and new family.

So I'm applying for an AOS.

Unfortunately it has not been possible to send the papers yet, and that makes me nervous. My Visa Waver runs out in 3 days.

Also I rent an apartment, have bills and early pension in Denmark that I don't know what to do about. I think I have to keep the apartment till I know if I get to stay. I'm hoping to get my pension here, but don't know how to, and I'm not getting a lot of response on the emails for the different offices in Dk I sent. I am afraid they'll take my pension away and make me pay back for the months I've stayed here. We don't have a lot of money. Also I don't know if our marriage has to be legalized in Dk before we can do anything or how. I would love to get his name, but will it make it all more complicated with papers from home and so on...

I have ADHD and it's very hard for me to keep an overview and take action, so that's definitely not making it all easier.

Nice to find this forum though, and to read stories that shows me this is not impossible.

Hi! I have a question about the medical examination in Oslo, what exactly am I paying for? The x-ray and bloodtests are paid for separately. So what's 3000NOK for, and what do the doctors do that my own doctor can't?

What you are paying for is a "panel" physician who follows all the same guides as pretty much every other panel physician in the world. They aren't going to do much except check that you are in good health.
