We got RFE on 25feb and we send it back on28th Feb with overnight mail but couldn't deliver until 2nd march because of the weather.

Call NVC operator and they will tell what they are missing.

send the missing document with barcode Cover sheet.

NVC didn't said anything about ATTN:CMR or ATTN:DR and we didn't ask also. So we sent on Attn:cmr and it was scan next day.

LingChen shrotcut says send an RFE to ATTN:DR

If you don't mind, how do you know if an RFE is real or false alamr? I called and got only AVR earlier. Said there were missing docs. But is it possible it's just an RFE if, for example, the DS-230 arrived before the AOS? Or vice versa? It said there was a mail March 12 expalining the RFE. :(

Hi,

Well in my case i was lil confused about that before, so what i did i pass both certificates from registrar and from NSO but i think what valid most is the one from NSO,. good for you cause you already know about the NBI thing, cause in my case i did'nt include my NBI clearance,. thatz why i got an RFE.. and i feel so bad about it..

Good luck for your case..

Check it many times before sending your paper just to make things so sure.

well, i read from here that it sometimes happened in which they receive I-864 or Ds 230 late, or they are still waiting for your DS 230 to arrive. But in my case, we send out I-864 and DS 230 in one packet. Husband called AVR to check about the status of our papers and heard that there are some missing documents, so what he did was he called again ang spoke directly to the operator, the operator then told him whatz the missing part.

If i were you talk to operator for you to know whatz the missing document.

then, all you have to do is provide a new DS 230, with barcoded cover letter.

Check it many time before sending it again to make sure.

We had an RFE, then a false RFE. They actually received our DS-230 before our I-864 RFE package, then said we had an RFE because of it. Turns out it was false. For our REAL RFE we sent it to Attn: DR. Check out the guides under LingChe for NVC and it'll guide you! Good lucK :)
