VISA RECEIVED WITH WRONG PASSPORT NUMBER

I received my K1 visa today, and whilst checking it, I noted that they have not put the correct passport number on it, they left a digit out

I called the London embassy help line and they gave me a code, so that I could e-mail the Embassy.

However I would really appreiciate any advise that anyone could give me as to what might happen, as I really dont want to wait for the Embassy to revert next week as they will not reply over the weekend.

Any advise or previous experience would be greatly appreciated so I do not stress over it all weekend

The London embassy should be able to correct it for you next week.

The London embassy should be able to correct it for you next week.

Thanks I just booked my flight for the 11th May so I am sure it will be resolved by then, just a dissapointment and more hassle

Take it in stride :D

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

I know people are still waiting, but I have done my fair share of waiting as well, we applied in June last year, it is more a dissapointment and the hassle of it all and the expence if they want me to pay for the courier. Sorry to moan, but you wait so long for it and you get it and it is wrong...............I cant use it
