NVC payment

Hello.

So back on February 6, 2009 I process the $70 as well as the $400 online using my debit card. 3 days later, the posting showed as payment recieved and i was able to complete the coversheet printing. We assembled the documents together and mailed out the both packages, IV as well as AOS. Yesterday when I called NVC, they operator asked if I sent the documents without the coversheets? I said no, they are attached, so she asked if I was able to print them, I said yes.

She put me on hold for a bit and then said she sees something different and that my payment shows as not paid at her end!!! She said I might have to send them a copy of my bank statement to verify the payment was made. So I went back in and checked and the payment shows as rejected!!!! I have over $500 in my account which does not entitle my payment to be rejected and secondly, how was I able to print the coversheets from get go?

I have already submitted all the documents to NVC including the originals with the IV package.

Is this normal?

what exactly you printed out the receipt or coversheet because they both are different. you can print out the receipt at the same time when make the payment online. but coversheet you will be able to print only when the payment is complete which takes couple of days.

you are right than, its between NVC and your bank. tray calling bank and find out whats the reason. If your payment is back than you can make again. and may be they can use the same bar code sheet. Its hard to convince them though.

there are some people in VJ they had the same problem and got to fix it. you can search for them in VJ or you ask some old and senior members also.

I recommend you call NVC and speak to a supervisor, and try and get this sorted. Where both payments rejected?

As Arun mentioned, there are a few people having issues with payments, and the timing of payments.

yes they were both rejected. i have tried processing the payments again so lets see what happens. my bank has confirmed there is no error on their side, but of course i will never get NVC to accept that its something on their end and i just love that about them

If you made another payment, it should be fixed in NVC now. Something similar happened to me where I paid IV fee online b4 the fee was generated. I'd to wait few days to get NVC correct it in the system. The system at NVC will correct it itself.
