Question on biometrics appt. for wife and step daughter

Hi all,

We quickly recieved the NOA for biometrics for my wife after filing...it was for the 19 of march at bronx asc. I had not recieved one for my step daughter/ filed on same petition. I called 800 number and the man said "we don't do biometrics on children under 14. Then i got a biometrics appt. in mail for my step daughter yesturday for the 26 of March. she is 8 by the way.

So my question is if i bring my step daughter to my wifes appt. will they do both so i dont have to make 2 trips to the city? theres not enough time to send letters back and request to be rescheduled. Also wifes appt is for 2:00pm....if i get there first thing in the morning will they see us early? does the time on appt. really matter? anyone with experience with this?

My goodness, same thing happened to us, a wife and a step daughter, 440 mile round trip, except mine was 16 years old at the time, took her appointment letter and green card, and her with my wife, and said please, this is another 440 miles for us. They said, sure. Ha, if they said no, probably would have fallen to the floor and cried like a baby, that also has been known to work. Be nice and say please, please, please. They were taking 12 at a time, daughter was put with my wife, only takes them an extra minute, and make sure you have her SS number with you, have to fill out a form that I don't understand either, all that information is on your application.

Same thing happened to my wife and step daughter. My wife's appointment was before my step daughters, they both went on my wife's appointment day, no problem with both of them getting the biometrics on the same day. Just don't miss the first appointment, and take your step daughter along, I believe that it will be just fine having them both done on the same day.
