Email Completed & Signed DS-230 to NVC...is it possible?

they will not except it and you will get an RFE. you can save time by sending overnight mail. No one on VJ would advice you to send DS-230 in mail because your husband have to sign part-1, and than he will sign part-2 before consulate. So DS-230 is not possible but ya DS-3032 is possible

No, you must submit original signed documents. I suggest you use blue ink when signing these documents, so it doesn't get mistaken for a scan or a photocopy.

There is no way you can type and saves DS-230, after you completed type all your information in, and it only allow you to SAVES a blank FORMATS. Therefore, you can't email NVC with a blank formats. You have to type in and print out, and sign it.

Did you really mean to say the DS-3032 Choice of Address and Agent - not the DS-230?

If so, yes you can email them - no you don't need to send the 'actual' form, just an email selecting your agent - there are a gazillion threads about that - try searching - emailing DS-3032.

Everything else he can e mail to you but the part where he need to signed have to be the original paper, you can't e mail the DS 230 to the NVC. If you do so it will delay that paperwork and will get a RFE. What you can do is filled evrything up, leave the signature part and date, e- mail to him. Then he can print it out, signed and dated a after he signed it and mail it back to you and you can forward to the NVC or he can mail it directly to the NVC and dont forget the coversheet as it will make it faster to find the right desk to get your doucments completed. GOODLUCK, the only thing you can e mail the NVC is your DS 3230... DO NOT FALSIFYING THE RECORD AS IT WILL ONLY GET YOU IN TROUBLE AND DELAY YOU DOCUMENTS. NVC REVIEWER KNOWS WHAT IS REAL AND WHATS FAKE BY LOOKING ON YOUR DOCUMENTS. SLOW IS SMOOTH, SMOOTH IS FAST...

The document I am talking about is the DS-230.

I helped him fill it out on the computer so it looks nice. Printed it out, scanned it, emailed it to him, and then he signed it in blue ink. He sent the originals back to the states with my brother (who was over there visiting w/ me, but I had to come back to the states first...). So I have original signed copy.

My question is, can I scan everything I was intending to mail and email that to the NVC to make the process go smoother?? I do not have any doubt that they will be able to distinguish his signature as forged, because his is very unique and I nor anyone else I know would be able to forge it.

No, I do not think they will accept a scanned copy regardless of how unique his signature may be! They want the original. It is always tempting to try to move things along as quickly as possible but it may only cause you a longer delay in the end. Send the original!
