Okay I did it. I finally waxed. After canceling two appointments I finally did it.

It was painful but a quick pain. I insisted on talking to the girl for a good 20 minutes before allowing her to see my vag... and no I'm normally not that easy but she only had 30 minutes for me.

It took a total of 45 minutes, that included 'getting to know before you before you see my vag' time.

So I feel like I have joined some weird sisterhood... I finally did it. I don't know if I'll do it again.... perhaps I will if I can guarantee the same girl.

finally a job i can sink my teeth into. i wonder if it's too late for a career change?

And congrats on the waxing job, Sprailenes! I want to get it done too, but I as well am a big chicken. Maybe one of these days I'll get really drunk and just go for it, the alcohol might numb the pain..then again I might feel taken advantage of after getting naked for another girl then leaving with things down there missing.

I can't believe I just read all 19 pages of this. Well, now I must chime in

I am a HUGE fan of laser. I have gone about 5 times for bikini and only twice for underarms. And honestly, I barely need to shave it now. It is sooooo smooth. You can tell them to go in as far as you want, but........I mean they don't go as far as Brazilian but, you can "customize" it as long as you go to same guy.

Another benefit of laser is that it eliminates the need to grow it all out to wax it....I pretty much never have to worry about what "stage" I'm at, as I'm always decent around bikini area. As for cost, it seems pricey but when you consider waxing every 6-8 weeks, it really is cost-effective. I would say each time was about 250??? I forget, also it was in another country. So all together maybe 1200 BUT...I've seen some crazy sales where it is 3 sessions for 199 or something insane. THAT is a steal!

But, the thing is, it will NEVER grow back. YAY! I even opted out of the "numbing" cream (gimmick!) so, you have to have a strong tolerance for pain. It feels like someone is taking a just burnt out match and burning you with it about 50 times each session. Haha well it's not as bad as it sounds. I figure I need to build up my tolerance for child birth

I have to get my zingers in here once in awhile. My wife will sit on the couch while I'm watching TV and pull her facial hairs out with a set of tweezers. I cringe just thinking about it. Watching that is like chewing on gristle.

I too just read through all the previous postings. I have waxed, plucked, and threaded my eyebrows and threading is the best. If you live in a city with a south Asian area it should be fairly reasonable. Herre in vancouver it is 5 dollars - cheap I know.

Waxing is my prefered method of brazillian waxing, but I have been going to the same girls for 7 years and when I was in the states for 176 days last year (not six months) I used Nair. I hadn't looked really hard for some one to do it, and I it wasn't until right before I was coming back to Canada that a friend's daughter told me about a place to go. As I am in the over 50 age bracket and also a fuller sized woman, I am somwhat apprehesive of finding a new waxer. I personally like it gone, and so did my sister who experienced it after her chemotherapy for breast cancer.

For those women who feel they are experiencing more infections, remember to void your bladder prior to and after sexual activities - don't just go to sleep. This certainly wasn't explained to me until I was in my early 40s, and it has been very good information which I try and share with any women who will listen.

I would have loved to try laser treatments, but as I am natural reddish blonde hair woman, I am not a candidate. The lighter your hair the most likelihood it won't work.
