Or a tin cup and hat and an organ-grinder.

SHAZAAAM!

That was so past a mere snap or zing.

I've eventually settled for trimming. I have a little personal trimmer that gets it down to the 'soft stubble' stage (soft but not particularly visible) and have bravely designated my partner to be the wielder. It's his playground, anyway; why shouldn't he be the groundskeeper?

He's totally game and it ends up, um, leading to interesting things later.

I would be afraid of damaging the equipment while I was doing the maintenance.

Okay, here's a new one. Weight loss... do you go buy new clothes or spend money to have the ones you already have tailored? Both cost almost as much, but tailoring seems cheaper. Especially since it seems as if ther emight be more weight to lose..... Thoughts?

I'd buy new ones, only because it's a good excuse to go shopping and get new clothes

ahh great question... i lost about 40 lbs a few years back and I did a combination of new clothing and pick up second hand stuff (esp. while I was transitioning from a size 13 down to a 4).. :) I did a lot of shopping for about a year.. until I finally got down to my size (eep those were the days!!) :) I think it's important to make sure you throw out your clothing as you go... so that it's a step of finality and that you don't have bigger clothing to fall back on.. I know it's incentive for me now not to gain weight, cause I'll have to buy new clothing again
