hi i hope i can get more response can anyone gave me the best way to contact us embassy manila because i am really desperate which alternative way to call to us embassy with out PLDT landline phone help pls.........

Call the embassy first thing in the morning, 7:30AM Manila time.

Why not let your petitioner call the embassy not you? He can call directly to the call center number using the $18 pin.

Yes better let your petitioner call the embassy instead. Best time is in the morning. But if you really want to call and don't have PLDT or Smart landline then you can go to SM and find this Businezz Depot, they have phones there that will allow you to call USEM, very expensive though. 200+ per minute.

thanks for the response well my fiance was too busy with his working schedule and tired after work now i understand his situation since i have more free time here in Cavite

Just tell your Fiance to press 3 immediately after the computer answers the phone, if he waits until the computer says press 3 for English it will put him back into the Tagalog speaking pool for some odd reason, it took me a while to get it right too. Gotta be quick. Good luck

this is what i use to call USEM before i dont know if it still work this time, i didnt use PLDT line when i inquire my case before, i just dialed +6323012000 extn # 5184. Try that in case it still works, some staff who answered the phone wont intertain if you wont use the PLDT line but some will intertain you, just be nice. I use that # many times before and i was able to talk to them only that it takes a while before someone will answer the phone. I really dont have any earthly idea on how it works now, but if you wish, just try it.

i think u can call directly from ur mobile phone... charge is 55pesos per minute. If ur fiance have a spare time to make the call, let him do it for u...It will not take more than 5 minutes to schedule an interview. when u call, be ready for ur case number, visa category, ur email address and decide first when do u want ur interview schedule. Well let ur fiance call the embassy they entertain and give details about ur case if the petitioner is the one who call, in my case it was my hubby who keep calling the embassy and the best time is morning there in the philipppines

they ask for 18$...is the petitioner calls from the US...is that for a one time call only for for whenever i need to call to verify something and schedule the interview and everything?

hi there, i just want to ask if this 1-909-101-7878 number would be ok too, if i will call from the Philippines what is more cheaper and easy to access from the operator how many minutes would it be consume?

That will be the call center number where you would talk to a call center agent who will not know anything beyond what is on their script. And calling that number would be sooooo much more expensive. If you want to really know about the status of your visa, ask your USC spouse/fiance/fiancee to call USEM direct line: 011 632 301 2000 then press 7 when prompted then ext 5184 or 5185.. in case you hear a prompt saying the operator is busy blah blah blah.. hit 0 right away so you won't have to redial, keep hitting 0 untill you get to talk to a live person.

I don't know if they have changed but before, USEM would always entertain queries directly from the USC. They would all be sweet and so entertaining if its the USC but would be a little bitchy if the Filipino applicant would be calling to inquire.

anyway, my fiancee used this # 1-888-877-9888 to call USEM to set an interview but it said that its not business hours already. can we call again and use the pin still?

You can use the pin 3 times.. some have even used it more than 3 times.. let him call first thing monday morning (Manila time). When we scheduled our interview, we made it a point to chat on yahoo, complete with yahoo/skype calling and webcam so when my then fiance was speaking with the call center agent I was immediately able to supple any additional needed info and I was able to choose the date I really want based on the available dates. I was hearing him talk on the phone and so I was able to type in the info needed asap: eg. complete address, birthdates, right spellings, etc.
