I'm going to start sending you the links to is "advices"

I generally run across most of them. He doesn't like me, because I'm not afraid to call him on his nonsense.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Update since I haven't been around much.

We have our interview in two weeks from yesterday.

However on me end of things haven't been so good. a week ago i got into an argument with my father, who got physical and pushed me out our front door, where I landed head first on concrete and had bleeding in my brain. Had to go to hospital and then police got involved. week after release from hospital the police decided to arrest us both. me on charges of disorderly conduct. had to spend most of yesterday in a jail cell awaiting araignment, only to be told to come back in 3 weeks and meanwhile i am issued a protective order saying i could not live in the same house as my father, so basically i got kicked out of the house and had to scramble to find a place to stay temporarily. So now I am all worried that this is going to do something to the interview and I am all worried and upset and stuff :(

Weevil....

First it is good to see you.. and congrats on the interview...

I am very sorry to hear about your argument with your father and that you had to find a place to stay.... I am not 100% sure on this, but I wouldnt worry too much about this event as ALL the checking on you has been completed at this stage. IF in the event it does come to light at the interview, which again I am 99.94% sure (ala Gary)... to the best of my understanding, at the interview, they ONLY disclose this to your SO, so the SO knows about it... it does not hurt your chances of approval.... So, with that in mind, dont worry about that... (someone will correct me if I am wrong) (Stephen.... cough... ) :)

Do you have to find a permanent place now as well?

Whatcha y'all doing today?

I am cooking up a storm.... So far I have made some Bolognese Sauce and some Ropa Vieja. I have a turkey breast marinating in some olive oil, rosemary and peppercorns that I will put on the smoker maybe tomorrow if the rain stops. I have a few pork chops marinating in a Jerk rub and I am roasting some fresh coconut for some rice.

Kata... good question... but a complicated answer...

First, i love to cook... and if i do say so myself, I am a most excellent chef... I am 1/2 Italian so I tend to cook a lot of Italian... I used to live in South Florida so I eat my share of Cuban food.... but when I discovered Ropa Vieja... it was AWESOME... Similar to a good Italian Ragu... so it has become a favorite of mine and a staple in my repertoire. As for the Mojito... I am not much of a drinker and I love mint... I discovered Mojitos in all places... Hawaii and ever since, when I drink a 'drink' it is either a bloody mary, kinky martini or a Mojito.

You and Freddy can come to dinner!

Not by any court order, but its a good idea. Just annoyed because its so short notice and I had to wait all day in a cell to be told come back later but we're going to throw you out on your ####. I feel victimized by the system because I was the victim of an assault and I am being punished for it. And I'm not allowed to visit the house and all my pets are there. I am also worried that if I get a permanent place now in three weeks when I have to go back to court I don't know what the punishment will be. charges dropped? fine? probation? And It's upsetting because I didn't even DO anything

I love hummus... I eat it atleast once a month... with homemade tabbouleh and pita chips :)

Churros are yummy! I make all sorts of them when I make them.... but I admit, it isnt very often since I dont deep fry very often. My parents owned donuts shops growing up... and we made them there.. not for sale.. but for us :)

Well... I am not an attorney nor do I plat one on TV... but I will offer this advice...

Get the police reports... read them... go to your arraignment, assuming you have no past and assuming the reports are vague... pleas NOT guilty... Get an attorney... You can try to call the clerk of the court and see if there are retired judges in your area to talk too... they are the best to talk too... they wont let you talk to the 'real' judge... then figure out a plan... I would recommend that you fight it... since you really dont want that on your record.
