Mornin Everyone!

Stephen... any update on the embassy?

Well, I found a DHL shipment from NVC to Seoul on 9/22, the date they said they sent our file. It was delivered to the embassy just before noon on Friday. But when I called the State Department this morning, they said the embassy hadn't entered it into the system yet.

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.

Oh, this might amuse y'all.... Last night NVC finally responded to the emails I sent two weeks ago about our case.

Dear Sir,

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC). The NVC has completed its processing of the visa petition you mentioned in your letter and has forwarded the petition to the assigned US Embassy/Consulate General for further processing.

Any further inquiries should be directed to the assigned US Embassy or Consulate General.

I wonder if that's how they always do it? Just wait 'til you're actually out of AP before responding, so they don't have to try to explain why they're delaying you or how much longer it's going to take?

Probably! I hope I don't have to test that theory!!!

Good grief, what has gotten into VSC?!

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=70970

31 days?! Granted, I don't quite buy the NOA1 date; it looks like they went by the date they received the hardcopy, not the day it was issued. But still. Barring an expedite, that's absurd!

Sure wish we could have gotten some of that! :P

Our saga continues  . My fiancee just had her interview today (25th) after being rescheduled from the 22nd because they still don't have our documents from the NVC. They allowed her interview today without the documents but would not give her the pink slip because of not having my divorce decree (that was sent in with the 129F). Out of all the duplicates of the package I sent to her, I don't know how that one got missed :crying: . She got her passport back. If I wasn't legally divorced, my application would have never even made it that far. No explanation where my paperwork could be being it left the NVC September 8th, or why she got the letter to schedule her interview if they don't have the package. All of this after 29 days of AP in the NVC. She is scheduled to fly soon to be in time for a family reunion. Seems we can't catch a break.
