well... I couldnt get JACK from them... I'll try again this afternoon

Hey Richard,

I dont know but it seems like one has to call like 10000 times to get to an officer that actually wants to answer something...but each one tells you something different.. so one does not know who to believe anyway.... have you heard back from the US senator?

Called her yesterday... her liaison at the USCIS was out of his/her office last week and was due back I think on Tuesday... when I spoke to the immigration specialist yesterday, she said she had not heard back from her contact yet... and that she would call me as soon as she heard back. I will call her again tomorrow if she doesnt call me today.. which i am not holding my breath over.

This officer I just spoke with.... said this... write Vermont... attn 129 supervisor.... she kept saying that only an adjudicating officer has the information I am looking for... that the officers in her department don't have access to it... interesting... CLUELESS

So my question is... I think when they tell you that your case is pending or processing is the same thing?... plus to be honest I dont even think that their system is updated... because I know for a fact that my case for previous USCIS fillings show as pending and they have been approved and finish all procedures already.... so you might call and be told that is still pending or whatever, and suddenly you get a letter through the mail...

i guess "adjudicating officerhas info " means ur file being reviewed i hope so

That wasnt the impression that I got... I was trying to find out exactly what additional processing was necessary for my case (which was what that useless letter they sent me said). So I kept drilling her to find out exactly what that was... and she kept trying to either avoid the answer or something... so I kept asking the same question.... and then finally... she told me that which I wrote above... So... I am taking it that 1) the officers that we are allowed to speak with are a) not in Vermont B) not able to access the 'entire' file or 2) no entry was made into their system as to exactly what they needed to dig deeper into.... which leads me further to believe that that letter they did send was just a stall, standard form letter....

I might look to see if there are numbers to supervisors in Vermont... I had a whole list of federal numbers at one point...

I found a couple of old phone numbers for VSC, you could try dropping a dime on them... (802) 527-4913 and (802) 527-3160

Improved USCIS Form G-325A (Biographic Information)

Form field input font changed to allow entry of dates in the specified format and to provide more space for addresses and employment history. This is the 6/12/09 version of the form; the current version is 8/8/11, but previous versions are accepted per the USCIS forms page.
