Good morning everyone....another day of obsessive watching coming up!

Missy... your too funny... I thought you were going to take a day off from obsessing? :)

I am at 8:30. I have to go to court to have the worthless tenant that is living in my house that I just sold evicted. I'll be in Justice Court for at least 4 hours (have to be there at 9:00 even though evictions are LAST) and then I am going to show one of my bigger and more expensive listings so I won't be around much until later this afternoon. That's almost like staying away, isn't it?? I mean, I can look at my phone some but if they see me doing that in the courtroom, they'll take it away and, if that happened, you would hear me hollering all the way in Hotlanta!

03/26/09 : NOA1

09/23/09 : NOA2

11/13/09 : APPROVED and visa in hand!!!

I wonder if that can cause issues with the background check similar to those encountered by US citizen petitioners who hold security clearances? Perhaps there's a "flag" on your FBI file that would cause FINRA to be alerted if you got in trouble, and that flag requires the USCIS background check to be cleared manually rather than simply returning "No Record."

I have no idea if this is actually the case, mind you; I'm just thinking out loud.

I guess that is a possibility...

For now, I am taking this letter as the standard form letter they send out when someone falls outside of normal processing. Having said that... Joanna, after reading about Sara and this letter, now thinks we will also be like her... so I have to try to explain that a little more... I will call the congressman's office today, although I think it might be Wednesday before she will have an answer and try to figure it out.

I had a TS-SCI with G and TK for 17+ years and it didn't seem to affect my processing time. That was over 10 years ago, but I do know it's still on record in case it needs to be reactivated. Guys who married foreign spouses at the time had to get a waiver while the spouse underwent some checks, but rarely did they lose access to "the building" and only if the waiver didn't come through in time, or if there were questions on those checks.

I never would have believed my journey to happiness would begin with something called an "I-129F"

03/19/09 - I-129F Sent

03/20/09 - NOA1 (rec'd harcopy 3/26/09)

03/24/09 - Check cleared

03/25/09 - Touched

8/12/09 - Touched (4 hours before NOA2 email)

8/12/09 - NOA2 email received

***Received email at noon (Weds)

***USCIS site did update with the status

***Was 113 on Berkeley list; 156 on VJ list

seems like the USCIS favors people from Philippines could be the factor of how busy embassies are Don't u think so ?

Boy, i sure wish I knew... Stephen said that their Embassy (South Korea) was slow... and he was late in getting their approval. I can tell you that the Warsaw Embassy is also slow, based on the published interviews for k1 this month... there were only like 10 or 12 compared to 30 or so the last few months. I am like a mushroom... I am in the dark and fed sh!t :)

Richard - Are any Feb filers out there with no update, no rhyme/reason as to why they haven't been approved?
