East Coast/Mid West MENA meet up

All the West Coast MENA people having so much fun got me to thinking if anyone on the "other" side would be willing or would like to meet for a weekend?

Not to say the West Coasters would be excluded. If you have the means to travel and would like to, by all means.

Just wanted to see what the interest level might be and maybe something we could plan to do for this summer.

I'm interested ! Annie, myself and a few others were discussing a possible spa weekend in May. I'm afraid Vegas in summer tho would be too scorchin hot for me

Why don't we state our locations so it would be easier to figure out where a good meet up spot would be?

Perhaps if we get enough interest from everyone and not just "coast specific", perhaps we can meet somewhere in the middle.

Totally diggin' the spa idea, but I'm sure that would be pricey. I probably could only afford sittin' in a mud hole with some elephants blowing mud on me!

I have visited a few spas there and they had some nicely priced packages ! I'm sure with "the current economic crisis" there would be more finds. I'm so into relaxation types of mini vacations these days. We do enough cooking, cleaning, running around, etc... in our daily lives

I *could* be in if it's drive-able (or could get a rock bottom flight price). I'm in Louisiana. New Orleans is a great tourist area w/ lots to do, *but* it is hot in the summer if you're not used to it. Make it Sept/Oct and y'all come for a hurrication!

The Arab Music Fest sounds nice but I'm wondering...is this a VJ girls thing or are spouses included? And if it's only a MENA girl meetup, do we have to do MENA related stuff? Honestly, I'm MENA'd out.

If you come to Milwaukee, we want you to bring your spouses. We had a blast last year and am hoping there are more of us this year! Its the first or second weekend of August. I will check the date to make sure!
