happy moanday! my son got cornfuzzied (confused) and thought that this week was their spring break.....so I let him stay home today....I wasn't 100% sure and I really didn't want to end up with him in the pharmacy all day .....so he got to watch movies all day instead of school work. Oh well..I'll have a chat with him about that tonight...

I'm slowly becoming less interested in muhfarm and becoming more addicted to farm town...I think it's the interraction with other ppl in real time or something that has drawn me in...that along with the fact that they only let u send 1 item to each friend per day rather than a billion items per day keeps it slow and interesting...

Did anyone here experience depression during their pregnancy?

I had terrible post-partum depression! The hormonal shift during pregnancy can be so powerful :wow: I also never had a migraine in my life until my son was born and have suffered w/ these headaches almost 21 years now

sofyan is terrified for me to get pregnant again, lol, I was a total whack job the whole time. Its normal for you to feel depressed, sad, etc. I remember the day I saw the pregnant line I was angry, even though we had planned getting pregnant. Its very terrifying, but does get better :)

Hey all! Twas a Monday to say the least. I hope you all are well. Jess, I'm so glad you made it back safe and sound to Riyadh...albeit with strep throat for the little guy. :(

HLM - depression happens to the best of us. Just eat well, exercise, and do good stuff for you. Make an effort to keep yourself in shape, because it can be a total shock to the psyche if you let yourself go...you'll come down on yourself and resent the baby. I'm not saying to not gain any weight, I'm just saying stay physically active and find things that you like to do that will keep your spirits high and motivated. Although I can't do much walking now...I'm moving like a slug :P but I will say that doing so much walking kept me kicking - moreover, it kept my mojo working. Whenever I was kind of bummed I would walk and begin to feel better. It made all the difference. Best of luck, cookie! ((((((((((((((HLM))))))))))))))) (F)

Ok I made it home in one piece. Granted the bus drivers went about 30 mph the entire way because we were going in and out of a snow storm the entire way. Most of it we could barely see 15 feet in front of us. Yikes!

Now on to Midterms this week. Don't mind me if I just happen to disappear the next two weeks.

Glad you are home Jess. Poor Josh, he is so little to get strep. God bless the baby!!

Olivia, glad to see you are home and safe as well!!

HLM...yep, I had it especially with Malek. I would cry a lot and get down. I missed my husband so badly during this time. The best thing I did was keep myself out of the house. I worked and found extra stuff to do. I kept myself busy with friends and family. I know you dont have your family around but how about some friends? See a movie, go to dinner, girls night out? Try and stay busy dear....hormones are whackadoodle right now and make you feel depressed. Keep your chin up sweetie!!

HLM your pregnancy may just be exacerbating depression/homesickness that's already there. I can't say that I experienced depression during my pregnancies other than my first and that was because my ex was visiting his family for 3 months. I missed him that was all. I was fine once he came home. I did experience some depression post delivery but that's not what you're asking. :)
