I've stuck around and its been 3 months! But dont expect me so much, once Y gets here

Yeah, that my ploy to get the Lisa hug ALL THE ABOVE is right. We can't wait for our file to get to LB!! I know we are being impatient and go ahead Q laugh it away Mr. guru It just seems it's about time already especially when you other ppl getting approved after 48 days!! YEP u read that right. THANK GOD we are approved or I would have not been able to go on another day. God sent us that approval at the exact right time I can so relate to Jen calling NVC eventhough our files are probably still

Who wants to join me to go push it along, help the driver put the metal to the pedal hahaha or is the other way around??? lol

And then we can help the DHL pilot fly faster once our files leave for embassy

GS your hilarious... You should call USCIS and say, I know you guys are busy so would you mind if I picked up the case files for the folks in this thread, and delivered them to NVC

If my husband doesnt get the packet by friday, Im going to be calling NVC for shipment date confirmation again, then Im going to play the DHL tracking card and tell Amman ____ signed for the package, its there.

Its mailed. I started to freak a little because Amman emailed me dated 3/6(after my "thanks!" email) and said "you're welcome. once we receive the file, we will schedule the visa interview." ONCE?!?

Im hoping that its a case of the file just hadnt been scanned/entered into the system and the person sending the emails just cant "view" it yet. But I have nothing to back that up, just guessing based on normal business/immi functions.

I'm trying hard not to freak out, but honestly..it feels like we have hit every single bump that is possible in this "journey". 8+ months at VSC, 51 days of friggin AP at NVC and now this "once we recieve it" #######.

People approved after us already have interviews scheduled

Then the Affadavit of Support, and DS-230 packages are submitted 7-10 business days before the interview.

That would be nice Que. But there wasnt any indication that they had sent the packet 3 to begin with.

I'm just hoping the silly thing is in transit as we speak.

My husband keeps saying: they gave _____ x amount of days to get his stuff done. I take that as there is no packet 4. Like, for k visas they(amman) just send you the packet and say, get this stuff together and done, you interview is on (date)

Lisa, I agree with Que. That is usually how it's done. Knowing how it works over there, they probably mean, "Yeah, after we get the file...and then he sends us his stuff...and then we review...THEN we'll make interview. Yeah, after it's recieved."

My mom was in Amman when her cousin was trying to come to the US via the CR-1. Mom was there for a long visit with family so she went with her to consulate and helped her with it. Her exact words describing their work ethic "Disgusting"... LOL My mom is like me, she has no patience with incompitence.

Lisa, when did it show on DHL your package left for Amman? I can totally relate. We haven't had AP and I am already anxious to get the interview date and for the case to leave NVC. It seems the closer you get to the grand finale the crazier you get with anticipation!! I can only imagine what a ball of nerves we will be once the interview dates for our hubbies/wifies are up!! We should throw a stay-up all nite party/waiting for spouse to get approved @ interview thread

I 130: DS 230 part I and II and I 864

K3: DS 156, Ds156k, Ds 157 and I 134. Am I right or am I missing something?

I'm confused now because when Tucho picks up the packet 3 he is going to make the appointment. He has to bring the completed packet 3 to the interview. Is that just Costa Rica?
