Medical Exam is tomorrow!

Timeline

Ok question..My husbands medical exam is tomorrow and ofcourse he hasnt had all t he stndard vaccines that the US requeires. Do t hey give him the shots at the medcal tomorrow or re-schedule after he has taken the shots? I hope this is not a reason for him to fail the medical and have to re-schedue again since our interview is just a week away.

Good Luck...the doctor should be able to give most of the shots tomorrow. If a certain vaccine requires multiple shots, the doctor will arrange that with your husband.

Hmm I just spoke to my hubby, he just left the doctors. They didnt say anything about the shots and when he asked they just said dont worry about the shots everything is okay. Thats weird.. I guess they will send him to have the shots takn once he comes to the states.. is this possible?

BTW the shots that are required are:

Hepatitis B

tetanus and diphetheria toxoids

infuenzae type b (Hib)

polio

mumps

measles

rubella

varicella

pneumococcal

influenza

I think he'll have to complete them when you guys do AOS.

Timeline: 13 month long journey from filing to visa in hand

If you were lucky and got an approval and reunion with your loved one rather quickly; Please refrain from telling people who waited 6+ months just to get out of a service center to "chill out" or to "stop whining" It's insensitive,and unecessary. Once you walk a mile in their shoes you will understand and be heard.
