My computer bites! Every morning when I turn it on, and click on Mozilla, it takes at least TEN minutes to open up my homepage. There's obviously something wrong with it, this morning ran virus scan but I don't know what it is, I'm not a computer person at all. I might have to have someone come take a look at it, one of those computer nerd companies that drive around. And it freezes often it's so sllooooowwwwwwwwwww

Try CCLEANER, It's a free registry cleaner and gets rid of all the temp files you may have gotten. HitManPro is a great free scanner for malware and virus'. It uses a bundle of free scanners to remove stuff. MalwareBytes is a great scanner that finds stuff that others haven't. It's free to try, but it will eventually prompt you to purchase it. So, just use it, then uninstall it and re-download/install when you need it. I wouldn't use geek squad or any of those that they have at chain stores. They will go through your comp and look at all your personal files etc...

Thanks Rob and Krit! Good advice Rob, I don't want the geek squad seeing my personal photos

Rob gave me some useful links. Download these, Jill:

MalwareBytes

CCleaner

They really helped my PC.

Ohhh thanks!! Will do that, as soon as I return home from Wegman's :D

I have no idea how it happened. Jeremy and I looked over the whole packet once we found out, no where does it reference Sydney and on the I-129F it says Vancouver for the consulate. I'm not as mad as I was. I am hopeful that it will get rectified and make its way to Vancouver. If not, and I have to refile that's when I'll freak out. But thanks for reading to my vent lol.

Pretty incredible! Sounds like DHS have some staff who need geography lessons . . .

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

When we were making our file, and by we, I mean Mel. She wouldn't even let me near it for fear that I had mustard or something on my fingers. She thought of every conceivable paranoid scenario in which either they lost the file, or I destroyed it. So she made 3 extra copies.

Did you talk to someone at the consulate about it?
