Well this post has definitely taken an awkward turn. I hate my brother in law..he has long hair and pulls it out every where EVERY WHERE, and he cleans the toilet with toilet paper and insists he cleaned it for like an hour...so gross. I'm glad our room has the master bath...christ...

Are you sure you understand what hypocrite means? Because you can decline to discuss something and respect someones right to post whatever they wanted. I said that to Carla because I didn't want to bring things up, I was hoping that it would die down and that would be that. But of course, you brought it back up. That is your prerogative I suppose. But why would you bring this back up if as you state you don't care? Bottom line, don't insult people and then expect no response.

As people have stated in this thread, I don't think they want to hear our squabble, so I would suggest (not insist - suggest) that we take it to pm if you want to continue.

I will not be bullied into submitting to your incorrect interpretation of the TOS on these boards. I have read them and I understand what I can and cannot do thank you.

I'm not a moderator, I never mentioned TOS - you did, more than once, so why are you talking about my interpretation of them - in what far off galaxy was I bullying you into submitting to an incorrect interpretation of something I never mentioned?

I could go back and forth with you about this for days, however, as I mentioned in my last post, the other people in this thread have mentioned they don't want to hear this fight - so I am done, post what you will.

Where did you mention the TOS? Here, you said I had no right to say what I did. You don't mention it by name, but by reference.

My point, which I didn't feel like making the other day, is that you don't have the right to take a personal dig at me, not here, not in pm, not ever.

I have every right to defend myself, and to respond to you. You are the one who began the insults. You are the one who brought this back up after I tried to let it go. You are trying to be the victim by framing this so that I'm the one who out of nowhere attacked you for no reason. The fact of the matter is, you insulted me, for no rhyme or reason. I responded with a sarcastic remark, and YOU are the one who escalated it.

I was dumb. Or maybe just impulsive. This keeps happening, for some reason

Anyway I posted a sort of rant on craigslist related to housing and tenant rights. Part of it was about pets, and how clauses in a lease prohibiting pets is void. A landlord in Ontario cannot evict someone just for having a pet. If the pet is causing someone allergic reaction, is a nuisance, or is damaging the property, thats another story.

Well, I very shortly thereafter got this very belligerent landlord sending a not very nice letter telling me to read the damn Act, because I'm wrong, and he can evict anyone he pleases. When I replied back (big mistake) he got even nastier the second time, telling me that just because I pissed him off, he's going to evict some nice girls in one of his apartment buildings who have a cat and fish and weren't causing any problems. What??? He alternately referred to people like me as "tree hugging b1tches", "silly little girls", "stupid students", etc. Because anyone who asserts that tenants have rights is a tree-hugging b1tch. I wrote back a fairly reasonable email and said that he is welcome to send another email, but I am not going to open it if he insists on being abusive/inflammatory. For one, I tried to use a temporary email to disguise, but didn't think it out well enough, and actually my email is in the header. I am paranoid that I'm traceable. He, on the other hand, used a proxy and is untraceable. So when he has replied to my emails he sent the email to both temporary and actual email address. Every single email has been just stressing me out, to the point that I even got another gmail account because I'm paranoid.

gah. I deleted the conversation, but I duno, maybe I shouldn't. But it's stressing me out to just have it there.

That is twice in the past 5 months that I have pissed someone off to the point that they are belligerent/aggressive with me. Not only is this scary on some level, I am also just psychologically not raised to tolerate being hated.

This guy is a troll, probably of the 4chan variety. Just put his email address in your spam filter and create a sock puppet email account (gmail is great for this). I wouldn't be too worried about it, he sounds like an internet troll, nothing more. If you are worried that he is a hacker of sorts, then call your ISP and ask them to change your IP address.
