I never even knew who she was until yesterday. We never had problems. They lived a few blocks over, so I never met her. The kid would just come around to play hockey with Ethan once in a while. Now he's picking on kids younger than he is. This is the first incident with Ethan, and hopefully the last.

While the mother and I argued her son stood behind her and was swearing at me calling me names. My son stood behind me quietly and didn't say a word. Shows you right there the boundaries she has for her son.

I would never swear at another adult ever as a child. I knew to respect my elders.

Besides, I can think of a few things tastier than a mouth full of soap.

they don't always list colouring or food colour additives . . .

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

*sigh*

They like making it hard on me.

I ended up emailing Swiss Chalet and I have to go a location to ask about ingredients and they cant even disclose everything due to trade secrets.

Why can't I be allergic to something simple <_<

Charles, any truth to the rumor that you are represented by the firm of Sturm, Ruger and Co. Is your favorite hockey team the Blackhawks? By any chance do you have a pet Anaconda with a combat grip. Just remember that you don't have to be a Marine to have a Marine Defender.

actually, a ruger is one of the few makes i don't have. i'm quite partial to winchester, remington, and s&w.

the .44 mag is a model 629, stainless, but it has pachmayer grips :D

Trash should be kept in the dump, it shouldn't be allowed to walk the streets.

hey be nice, she's a beneficiary of my cigarette smoking!

What, no Colt, are you sure that you're not a Democrat.

.44 mag, model 629 is a nice piece, I would ask you what kind of butt you have but given your penchant for pornographic material, that's not a good idea. Stainless steel barrels have a reputation for distorting under constant use or extreme cold but I assume you only need to hit the target once. Of course if you burn through 20 speed loaders full of Buffalo Bore 340 gr ammo  to hit the target at the gunrange, maybe one of the 16 inch guns from the deck of the Missouri might be more useful for home defence.

largest i load in it is 250 grain shjp. no colts though, i never was a .45 fan.

but i do have a daewoo dh-40 i just

Colt Anaconda .44 Magnum with a 8" stainless steel barrel and 340 gr Buffalo Bore ammo will drop just about anything at 150-300 yds, too bad it's not in production anymore. Daewoo makes guns, I never heard of them but I guess if they make cars and BSA was Birmingham Small Arms before they started making motorcycles, so why not. I seriously thought that you were going to surprise me and say that you had a MacMillan Tactical 50 with a few cases of .50 BMG ammo just in case someone tries to break into your house from 2000 yds away. BTW, colt makes more than .45s these days, but they don't make the Dragoon they gave you when you joined the service.

Never tasted lava soap, but Ivory and Jergens tasted horrible. Why couldn't Mom use a nice fruity soap instead.

daewoo makes some pretty interesting guns, check them out.

and i prefer my 1903a3 for long shots :D

I don't know if people around here are slow or if they just really need to know every detail, but the amount of questions that come after I say something is quite insane.

In fact I have taught myself to not say anything at all because I can't stand explaining it over and over to people who don't get it the first time.

It's stupid questions too. Questions that have nothing to do with anything I am talking about.

What annoys me the most is when people say: "Wait... what?" as if they are trying to process what I just said.

"Wait.... *processing* what?"

I have never had to explain myself so much until I moved to this area.

Also, I hate it when people write general memos and place them in plain view, instead of actually talking to the person who did the dirty deed. I didn't put liquids in the trash, I didn't jam the copier, I didn't quote a wedding and give the wrong price. But there it is hanging on the wall right in my view... asking everyone read and initial.

I am annoyed today. I need more coffee. bbl.

haha a typical morning for me...

*terrible boss calls big boss's phone line, he is currently on the phone so I pick up*

Me - "Sorry, he's on the other line..."

*silence*

Boss - "Okay..."

*what does she want me to say?*

Me - "is there anything else?"

Boss - "what?"

Me - "I will have him give you a call..."

*end of conversation*

I'm sitting here like..#######? Usually when you say to someone, "I'm sorry, so and so is not in right now", they say, "Okay, no problem, have so and so give me a call back when they get a chance"..

Very few people I work with seem to be able to articulate what they want!

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

"Articulate what they want" Exactly!

And they sure don't get it when you articulate what you want.

Maybe if I started talking with a dumb a$$ accent they'd understand me more? I should try it.

You should. It happens to me multiple times a day. And, sometimes, when I try to get people to articulate what they want me to do, they get really frustrated and mad. It's kind of weird.

Because they can't.

I try to tell someone something and they'll ask a really stupid question, so I'll explain it once again and then they'll ask another stupid question.

It's like they're not even listening to what I am saying but are curious about the unimportant details... and then the infamous: "Wait....... what" comes in.

I feel like their brains are going to start to fry if I try to explain it any further.

I really do try to explain things properly. I think it's time to get the chart paper and smelly markers out!

My 'favourite' annoying thing I hear people say when they don't understand is "Do What?"

Ugh...whatever happened to "Pardon? or "i'm sorry?"

My boss does this and it drives me crazy!
