argh, so yesterday the hubby and I had a little BBQ, just some hamburgers, corn on the cob etc.. when he was done cooking he came inside and said he had heard the neighbors talking.. he said they were complaining about the smoke from the BBQ and wondering how long he was going to be out there etc... my first thought was , if the smoke is bothering you, shut your flippin door...

then I told hubby that we should go and outside and start complaining about their loud music, their arguments , the kids that hang out outside till late in the evening and all their blasted lawn furniture strewn all over the front...

Aren't passive-aggressive people fun?

Pass me some frickin chocolate and a painkiller and let me go to sleep! I should have just called in sick tonight! Frazzled might be the word!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

I am getting majorly screwed on my hours for this rotation!! I may not even have a shift tomorrow night the way things are looking!! And a 16 hour cut possibly this weekend! "Oh just use some of your vacation time to supplement." Yeah screw that! I need that time for a friends wedding! If I can supplement with my sick time too then maybe! Its still ridiculous!! Thank goodness I have a direct supervisor that is understanding and is trying to figure out the situation, at least for tomorrow night!

I feel like I am going to snap and rip someones head off! I hate it when my fiance is silly and won't answer me or answers sarcasticlly!!! I am in no mood!! :girlwerewolf2xn:

We were leaving the market yesterday and as I'm driving through the parking lot to exit, I notice that there are two men sitting at a table outside the market passing out pamphlets and have some sort of petition they are trying to persuade people to sign. Then I see the banner that they have in front of their table. I don't remember the exact verbiage, but It was something along the lines of "Despots like Hitler and Obama have always wanted Health Care reform". Really? I was really pissed off when I saw it. Not because i'm an overzealous Obama supporter, but because this is an absolutely ignorant and despicable analogy. This is a very affluent neighborhood and I know many people in the area are conservative, but I really didn't think that uneducated and pathetic.

Pathetic is the right word- i think we see a lot less of that in Canada due to Hate laws...there's always someone outside the DMV here in VA passing out some ####### pamphlet...I feel like saying - get the heck out of my space and stop polluting it with your stupidity

The events planner at my work is officially off her rocker. Her daughter is getting married to a man from South Africa and he came here on a visitors visa and overstayed, so her daughter is going to marry him and try to keep him in the country. An overstay is an overstay. Anyways she keeps asking me questions and I directed her to this site... hmm maybe she'll find this post and others I have written about her....

She honestly thinks it's going to be smooth sailing for this guy and her daughter. They're getting married at the club and her mom is footing the entire bill. I don't even want to give out advice because I don't want to get involved.

Even before going through immigration, I knew it wasn't going to be easy. I knew it would take a while and I knew it would be rough seas ahead. When my husband left Canada, my heart broke and all of my friends told me: "Just move down there with him" like it was so simple to do that. I knew it wasn't and I knew that we had to do things properly and legally. I don't know what this woman's daughter is going to do, she's also a server at my work. She's a nice girl but she has no idea what is about to happen to her.

Oh and she has had three previous weddings at my work that have all been cancelled. Yeaaa good luck with that.

She's just sooo stupid! Today I got out of my car and was barely out of the parking lot and she comes running out and says "I am so glad you're here! Please don't take another day off! I have soo many questions for you" and she wrapped her pudgy arms around me pulled me into her sweaty gross bosom and hugged me for a good minute. Help.:(
