In January my husband (US citizen) filed a petition for me - I-130. Im from Malta but I got to know that i have to go to Italy to do my interview and medical test there (i know i didnt get there yet but i would like to know).... is the Naples consulate Standard or Appointment, that is shall I send my paperwork to NVC or to the embassy directly since on the website i found out that I will have to fax the DS230 part 1 to them and get the rest with me at the interview... does that mean i wont have to send it to NVC and send it to the embassy instead?

here is the link i found all this info:

Hi there.

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question... I just have the same one. I am noticing that a lot of the info I have seen online about the Naples consulate seem to indicate that it is Standard processing (you fax part one of DS 230 and then bring the rest of the documents to the interview), but I am not sure.

We are still waiting for a case number from the NVC, even though it has been over two weeks since our NOA2. I was planning on asking a representative at the NVC when we finally get a case number assigned.

Since you already have a case number, I am sure that you can call and ask them if Naples is Appointment or Standard.

If you find anything out, let me know! (I will be sure to let you know if I hear anything, too!)
