When Do I Receive The RFE?

Unfortunately, i didn't find this site until i submitted this form. I did an infopass appointment to see a immigration officer to look over my Visa.

However after seeing a more detailed checklist from this site i figured myself that i missed a few things, such as a copy of the passport stamps that showed i've seen her in the past two years because unfortunately i lost my boarding passes. I only sent in an itinerary, which after some reading into i realized it won't be enough...

So i'm pretty sure i will get a RFE. Will that come between the NOA1 and NOA2? Because I just got my NOA1 today.

Other questions:

Will they send the entire package back with the RFE? Because I would like the I-129F form back because i didn't make a copy of that (I SERIOUSLY wish i had found this site...i kind of did this all in person without internet at the time, did it all through the Immigration office, and the Immigration officer didn't mention making copies of the ENTIRE package, but i guess it was common sense, so my bad), and I'm not sure if that will be a huge problem when she goes in for her interview if she doesn't have a copy of it.

Will I have to wait ANOTHER 6+ months after sending in the RFE?

Will i have to pay the full fee again?

Thanks in advance. :) (Sorry if there is already a guide for this somewhere, i couldn't find it if there is, either that or i'm blind :/)

No worries on sending the entire package back as long as everything else was there. They will send you an RFE "if" they want additional info to prove that you have seen her in the past 2 years. You may not need it but will depend upon what else you submitted. So you probably have a couple of months since you just got you NOA1. You will not need to repay everything.

I had a similar concern on my K3 app. I forgot to include items requested for bonafide relationship for the I-130. But I got my NOA2 in Jan and with no RFE.

Best of luck

Ok first of all they shouldn't send the entire package back if they issued a NOA-1. The RFE may or may not come depending on how picky the reviewer is. The documentation of the relationship will be presented at the interview stage again. as far as the copy of the package yes you should have made a copy but just make another original with the same dates you used on the first one and send that to your beneficiary with supporting documents so she has a "copy" of it. Include the passport stamps this time for her. you won't have to repay a fee for an RFE. the time from NOA-1 to NOA-2 for a K visa is averaging between 3-6 months for normal processing so you have a wait ahead of you. Study this site and be patient but be prepared ahead of time.
