UPDATE:

NBI Clearance received - just as they promised 1 week. SO sent it to the embassy via 1 day courier. Since it was passed the cut off time the embassy should have it on Monday the 20th of April. Wish us luck.

Gemmie _ Congrats on your interview date

HD - I can relate to what you are going thru , i had that a few times at home. Its all about the frustrations of this process and long distance between us and our loved ones. I left home a week after i got my visa and as much as i was excited about coming to be with my fiance, i was sad and torn inside the pain () leaving my family behind. My mum's sad eyes and my sisters tears still linger in my mind. I know she was happy for me but i think just the long distance to be was finally a reality. My jaja ( grandmum) said a prayer on phone, before i switchedit off. I have been a flight attendant for 5 years until i quit to join my fianc'e , i enjoyed TAKEOFFS the most but this timeround i was ripped apart as I TOOK OFF!!

HD, I know exactly how you feel. The reason we've been having problems is because I feel that I'm giving up so much in my life. I'm stressed too. My family and friends are freaking out about me not being around anymore.. I can't drive, I can't work, I can barely even walk anywhere (surrounded by lots of highways).. I forgot to tell you all that Bill now has a job. Which is positive for us, but I still have a hard time realising that I'm coming up on huge life changes.. you're not alone.

Haha I have the energy to do things, just with no idea about timings I dont have the option too so instead I do things like look at houses online (Chris and I are house hunting this month) look at wedding ideas, and consider how to get things like my drivers license, teaching license, etc when I get here.

Hi all! good to hear from Donna and that things are moving up for Freddy.

I am still stressed, its friday and he is supposed to take his flight tonight! yesterday we didn't talk, I told him wednesday I will leave him alone so he can get things done, and so today no news from him, I have no clue and don't want to bother calling him, he didn't even write me an email I am freaking out! dont know if he's coming . Why are men so stupid, I think women are stronger and leave everything behind for their men, men don't.
