My girlfriend(Colombian) has been in the US for 3 months now on a tourist visa. I'm an American seeking advice what to do. We plan to live in the Bahamas ( I have a work permit) . We need to leave in 2 weeks

Should we get married in the Bahamas and apply for the K1 visa from there?

Can she travel to the US with her US tourist visa while the K1 is pending?

Any other options? I know I could get married in the US under her tourist visa, but it would take months until she has AP..

Hard to do when married, K1 is for fiancees!

If you marry you will be filing for a CR-1 or K-3 visa, preferably the CR-1 because it costs less and results in a green-card upon entry to the USA.

Sounds like a CR1 (or IR 1 if you will be staying in the Bahamas for more than 2 years after marriage) is he best option for you.

I would go for the CR-1 as suggested above.

CR-1 all the way. File the I-130 and wait.

Yes, technically your wife can travel to the U.S. but since she will be married to a U.S. citizen and with an immigrant visa pending, there is no guarentee that she'll be admitted into the U.S. since it is clear that she has immigrant intent.
