My I-129f application has been stuck in El Paso TX. since March 31, 06.

I called my congressman Jun 7 and he contacted El Paso and they agreed

It should not be there and they would forward it to Dallas TX., Last week I

checked the USCIS web page and Dallas in not processing I129f applications

I call my congressman and he told me that this is true and that Dallas would

forward my application to California when they received it. The problem I'm

having is the last update I received in from 04/03/2006 when El Paso received it.

If El Paso sent it to Dallas wouldn't I get a update, and if Dallas received it and sent

it to California wouldn't I get an update? As far as I can tell I'm still stuck in El Paso

and I am in worse shape now then I was when Neb originally received my application.

Also, my congressman told me they would expedite my application and I saw on there

web page that they would contact you in 72 hours if the approved the expedite, and that was

2 weeks ago and I haven't heard anything.

My NOA1 was Jan 23, 06. Its been 5 month and I haven't even started the process this SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!

I hope I don't get a RFE for the new law that went in to effect in March.

Any ideas on what I should do, would be appreciated.

Thanks

CSC should enter you into the tracking system and you MIGHT get a touch when they get it there - but what the heck is your petition doing at el Paso in the first place? Who sent it to El Paso?

Has your congressman asked that they expediate it now? (I guess that depends on who sent it to El Paso and why but he could lean on them to make sure it leaves TSC pretty darn quick)

If your congressman is a nice person, and happy to help you, and go that extra mile, then have him make a big nuisance of himself about this on your behalf - see if he will ask constantly for updates from USCIS about your petition's progress (has it left El Paso, when did it leave, did it get to TSC, when did it leave, has it arrived at CSC? What are they doing with it now? All that good stuff..they might just process it fast to get RID of him, lol and your NOA1 date means you won't be affected by IMBRA)..I read your post with my mouth open in shock at the delay in just getting to the right service centre!

Edit to add: I forgot to say Good luck and keep us posted!
