How do you get an interview date? Do you have to call NVC to get an interview date after the case is complete or do they give you an appoint? Or do you call the embassy abroad for an interview? Just for fyi, i'm an American citizen and my husband is from Bangladesh. Thanks for all your help!

What exactly is the noa2? Isn't the noa2 approval of the I-130? Or am I missing something? Also, I filed a I-130.

Hi ...

Yeah.. NOA2 is the Approval of I 130 given by the USCIS...

After approval, u have to deal with NVC for AOS,DS 230 and payment issues..Once u r done with NVC, they will schedule an interview date with the Embassy's consent and u and ur hubby will be notified.

Also, look into my CR1 steps to get idea about the NVC process..and for more detail please browse through the wiki guides...

Good Luck

Sonia

hi, the interview date is going to be given to you with the package 3, after the noa2.

She has applied for CR1 (I-130)..so she does not get packet 3 at once...K1 is handled differently...FYI

Sonia is correct, if you are following the I-130, you need to work throught the steps at NVC to complete AOS, and IV package, before getting your interview date. Use the LingChe shortcuts to get through NVC quickly:
