I am almost in the final stages and hoping for a case complete tomorrow. I am no longer able to sign into the online NVC payment site which is typically the case when the case is about to be wrapped up at NVC I was told tonite that both my DS 230 and AOS have been accepted with no RFEs WOOHOO hubby and I can breathe a little now...we were driving ourselves crazy with stress throughout this bumpy NVC ride!! So much for it being a smooth ride! Can't wait till we're out of there!

Aruba, I pray u will be released from NVC jail too!

Now you just need to sit and relax (If you can, hehehe) and wait for the Case Complete. I'm in the same step, waiting them to accept the DS-230 and giving me the CASE COMPLETE, as today the AVR only said they received the documents from me (for last week RFE) and need to wait 6-8 weeks so they can process the info. Hopefully I will hear from them this week too.

Has your embassy assigned the date for you K3 interview?

What is more reliable information, Tax Transcript or the W2 or 1040?

My co sponsor's information income is not tally or balance from his Tax Transcripts to his W2 and 1040..

For example his income for 2008 is $40,000 according to W2 but in his tax transcript its like $39,000.. What is the real score? Please help us.

What should we put in the 1864 Current Annual Income? the information from TAX TRANSCRIPT or from the W2 or 1040

Okay, crisis averted.

I just checked the online payment system and the IV Fee Bill was listed as "PAID" with the cover sheet available. So, that is good. I guess we didn't pay it too early.

We got an e-mail about submitting all of the evidence in an envelope marked "DOCUMENTS ONLY", but the NVC never sent it to us. Does anyone know anything about this?

COOL! We sent ours in a regular envelop and they were accepted. I called NVC and they told me to ignore it. They really need to redo/update their instructions. That was from when they used to send evtg out through snail mail I would check with an NVC rep. to have my own peace of mind though.

the nvc recieved my 186 and aos documents on 15th aprol...when should i start calling and inquiring abt it???

I personally would call every day, but it's been taking a few days for the docs to be visible in the NVC system and another week or two before case being in final review. You can check our timelines on this thread and u can have a better idea.

My husband is on his way to send the AOS documents through USPS overnight.

I called the NVC to clarify since im really wondering if we need to put the 2 kids of my husband which he didnt claim in his tax. The reason why we have a co sponsor is because of his 2 kids which his income didnt meet the requirements.. I asked the operator if we really need to put the 2 kids in the 1864 form but she said, Let me read the Instruction here, just for a moment... while waiting for a few seconds, she told me - you can exclude the 2 kids of your husband since he didnt claim them in his tax.. Meaning, we dont need a co sponsor since i should be the only one that he needs to support... I said, oh my GOD we already submitted the AOS documents last night. What should we need to do now? We have to edit it and remove his 2 kids in the form 1864.. She said, you can send a new form with written explanation that you did some mistake...

I told my husband about it and i ask him if he can call the NVC again for a second opinion just to make sure that all the operators are the same with their words.... My husband called the NVC and the same answer he received.... SIGH!!!

Now, will it be an issue with the Embassy if we will send a modified and edited 1864 form again? Coz honestly, im not sure if my husband and my co sponsor is enough for them to support me. My husband earned only $22,000 and his dad is like $35,000 for this year 2009.. Is this enough? I asked the operator about this and she replied - i cannot answer that since its the Embassy who makes the decision...

ok guys, now im a bit normal to share the news, did i say it properly before....our case was complete 23rd april i called many time yesterday but they told me to call back on tuesday, i called the automated voice resoponse today and i herad case was complete on 23rd...what did i hear???? i hlistenend to it again confirmed with two operateros,but the operators also informed me taht an interview was set for 11th.....im sooo happpy.....thank u Allah....hope the interview goes well inshAllah....we are preparing
