No, I didn't. I decided to pass since NVC operator told me if they receive the papers before April 15th it won't be an issue. Besides, I didn't really have a reason why I didn't file other than I owe money and I still am saving to be able to pay the owed money when I file ..Once again, it's not like I made a fortune so why I owe is beside me!! Hope they won't RFE me for that. They can't force us to file if the deadline has not passed unless the case review is not done by April 15th then I think it will be an issue. I am crossing my fingers for this one for as I said before u never know with them!! But if they do request it, it's no biggie since I have to file in the next 15 days either way. I will run to my accountant as soon as I hear the news and overnite it to them immediately lol You can be sure I will be calling them every day asking if there are any RFEs and won't be waiting for the notification to come from their end.

Hmmmm...this makes me wonder. When they issue an RFE and if u catch it immediately by calling, can u send the requested docs right away or do u have to wait for that checklist they need to send u and include it with the requested RFE?

You will need to wait for the letter. See below body of letter of the "False RFE" that I received about the missing DS-230.

which are indicated as missing or need additional information. You must submit the required

information. Failure to provide the requested information will delay your immigrant visa interview.

Please include a copy of this letter with your correspondence and write your case number clearly (exactly

If a period of one year passes without contacting the NVC (by e-mail, telephone, or mail), all

submitted fees and documents will expire. Upon expiration, the fees and documents would need to

be resubmitted in order to continue the immigration process.

You need to send a copy of the letter including the page with the barcode.

I got the same letter, this letter can be ignored, since you have not sent in the DS-230 yet. Simply send in the DS-230 with the IV Barcoded sheet and you will be fine.

Queue - How long did it take NVC to generate an IV bill after your choice of agent was accepted?

Hi all, nothing new on my end. Still waiting for both packets to be scanned into the NVC system. I will give them till Friday

I did call and ask about whether we will get an RFE for not sending in 2008 taxes and was told not unless case complete does not occur till April 15th. So I am hoping we will be done with NVC by then and at that point I would simply have to mail hubby copy of my 2008 taxes directly w/o submitting them to NVC. Keeping fingers crossed for all of us. May we get out of NVC in the next 2 weeks!

Good luck to you GS4. I was pursuing the k3 but decided to try my luck getting the CR1 out and having a "flip" but my spouse's k3 interview is april 16th! I haven't even gotten choice of agent approved! yikes! they seemed faster, but I assume there was a rush of new cases to NVC which may have slowed them down.

Gotta love how fast things change: UPDATE --> ooooooooh dare I get excited?? I just called NVC again a little while ago b/c i received an email from them titled "intructions packet_lawyer I 130" and it said in the email please include this letter with ur AOS and IV package b4 u mail it to NVC so I was like Oh no, I already mailed my packets out! So when I called they said to ignore the letter email and that information always gets crossed. The operator confirmed they received something from me yesterday and that it was under review but that it still didn't show what it was WOOHOO...so excited...under review already! That is awesome. Of course she said give it 2-4 weeks but we all know I will be calling every day lol Who's got the patience to sit back and wait 2 weeks b4 calling again...I asked the lady if it meant our packet was now sitting one someone's desk being reviewed and she laughed at my eagerness and said yes I have observed ppl getting their case complete lately b/w 6-10 days max. I can't wait till I get the OK nod from NVC!!

Our IV bill was FINALLY generated and we paid it online today...

Did you recieved IV invoice bill in email as pdf attachment? and after that did you confirmed with operator?...Me got an email with IV invoice bill as pdf attachment on 25th and i confermed with two operators and i paid the same on 25th online and it sowed as paid on 26th...we took the printout of the cover sheet and send the package to NVC...After all this still i am getting the same email...and my IV bill status in website changed to Not paid i don't understand there system...when i called up to NVC they said IV bill was generated on 29th...i doubt did they generated my IV bill twice...will it be a problem to application ...pls advice anybody...

Serendipity - Congratulations on the IV Bill getting generated!!! The AVR is probably referring to the FALSE RFE that you will probably see since your AOS was accepted but your DS-230 has not been sent to NVC yet. I wouldn't worry about the AVR, go with the status you get from the operators.

This whole waiting got me bored out of my mind!

Elima: Our IV bill showed up as Not paid after it showed as IN process and Paid respectively. We requested a supervisor fix it and they told us it takes 10 business days to be resolved. Ours was just fixed on Monday 03/30/09. So talk to an operator and have them put in a request for a supervisor to manually take care of it.

It's very frustrating how the AVR and online bill pay both are not always reliable. An operator told me the same about AVR (that it's not always updated). Best to always check with a few operators to ensure they are all giving u the same answer.

In my case, yesterday afternoon I was told by one the review had begun and later on at nite another said my case was not entered into the system as yet and that it's pending and today another said sorry the pending thing was the wrong screen she was looking at so go figure From now on, every news I get I will call and hear it from a few various reps. Definitely not fun but better to be sure than be

I have had the same Happen to me....

So Finally DS 230 was couriered to NVC today...they should have it tomorrow. Now I guess I have to sit back and Chill

Yes, now you just track the package and then wait for the review to complete. Hopefully quickly!!

i decided to go with K3 instead of CR1. Do i need to notify NVC? my interview is on april 9 for K3 and i have received the AOS fee bill and packet IV bill. do i just ignore it?
