Hopefully they will complete the AOS review today - No RFE pls

Thank you! We are hoping it is done in time, too. But, judging by the way things are moving at the NVC, it doesn't look like Ben will be here for the birth... but hopefully he will be here very soon thereafter. It is the first baby for both of us, so we are really excited. I obviously would prefer not to have her without him being here, but it is not like I am alone. I have all of my family here to support me until the NVC gets on the ball and let's me bring my husband here!

I am feeling pretty good... I am at 34 weeks now, so I am feeling just about as good as you can be this late in the game. I just hope she holds on until her dad can be here too!

Hi Seren, I agree. Another hour before his office closes, so let's see. If not today, then he will definitely be hearing from me come Monday. HEHE I bugged him so much, he told me on the phone on Wednesday not to call till Monday but once Monday is here, it's a different story We just have to take a deep breath, sit back and wait and hope we all get our case complete ASAP!

NVC is moving at a snail's pace...they rec'd my ds3032 on Monday 03/23/05 and have yet not entered it into their system. They say it takes 3-5 business day...WTH I am considering today 5th business day and my DS3032 had better be in their system come 03/30/09 such that they can generate the IV bill. They have dragged their feet enough on my case

I guess I can take comfort in the fact that my AOS is currently being reviewed as of 03/25/09....any idea how long this review takes??

I hate the waiting and watching and HOPING

OMG I AM SO EXCITED!!! Just when I thought we would have to wait till Monday, WOOFREAKINHOO, I get an email from my lawyer stating the package is being overnited tonite and will get to NVC by Monday!! YAYYYYYY Happy Friday indeed! I can now have a nice relaxing weekend as it's now out of my hands and lawyer's hand. I hope our ride on the NVC express is a smooth one!

I agree have u seen the approvals lately!! ppl who filed in march are getting approvals this week!! So no wonder NVC is moving so slow. We are freakin backed up in VSC for 230 days and are now being further delayed at NVC cz the fast approvals that are being handed out so quickly!! I feel the same way about this waiting. Now more waiting till case complete and keeping our fingers crossed for no RFEs. But u r right at least ur AOS is being reviewed and ur case is not at a total standstill. Wishing us both and other luck

Thanks Q! Indeed! Now the bigger and sweeter step would be to get to case complete like u and Candid. Can't wait!! Have a nice weekend . I plan to visit my sister/parents this weekend, take it easy and relax. It's been one hell of an UP and down UP and down ride lately. It's been stressful getting all the papers filled, calling NVC millions of time to double check we filled out the DS 230 correctly (worried sick of hearing RFE horror stories about that stupid form) and then getting the lawyer to be as eager as us...so a well deserved restful weekend is just what I need after the recent hectic stressful last couple of weeks.

I AM SO FED UP WITH NVC!!!!

Yesterday I called NVC and they said their system does not show that a DS3032 was ever generated, even though I rec'd a DS3032 and AOS bill on 03/20. Would you know it yesterday at 10:00PM I receive another email with my DS3032.

No wonder they haven't accepted my DS3032 which I mailed and was received by NVC on 03/23.

NVC system is so messed up..they going Green is a JOKE.

I can so relate and I'll join in the protest .... Operators have sworn up and down that since we have our cover sheets we should be ok but I am waiting to hear that since our IV bill shows unpaid we have been delayed further.

They have told me numerous times that our case won't be put on freeze but not sure how much of that I can believe, especially since we keep getting the stupid combo email to pay over and over again. I am gonna take solace in that Candid's case was wrapped up eventhough the same thing happened to her. Let's hope those operators knew what they were talking about ...but I am still sort of confused as they have also told me that as of right now they need to get a supervisor to fix the online glitch and the wait time for that is 10-15 business days! This is so freakin ridiculous! Isn't the point of paying online to avoid delays to begin with?

A lot of others are going thru the same problems with the bill showing unpaid when it's been paid.

Candid, maybe u can shed some light on this, not sure if I asked you, did any of your fees reflect unpaid after u made payments online?

Meanwhile I am trying not to stress too much about and am patiently waiting for Monday to roll around...the weekends are becoming a bore. I feel we are at deadlock right now waiting to see where all of this leaves us.

Time to implore Garga and his fairies and karma to work in our favour!

and will be there for the rest of tomorrow and yeah monday

to then Have my interview first thing in the morning tuesay

so 2 days away

my paperwork folder won't close

wondering how i am gonna walk with it or i might just scrap some of it

make chat log less paper and same for phone call records i have a years worth

GS - I received e-mails regarding AOS/IV bill combo even though we already paid both. The operator told me to ignore it instead because we already printed the cover sheets anyway. A day after paying, the online status showed paid. I opened the site twice on the same day but never bothered to go on that site again afterwards.

SEREN - I hope NVC would fix the mess they are doing with your DS3032, soon.
