So Seren, what do u mean by confirmation? Is the cover sheet the confirmation or is it an operator confirming it shows paid in their system? If you have ur covers sheets and receipt showing it was paid, is that confirmation enough?

Yes The bill showed paid online and I also got confirmation from a rep at NVC.

That's all you need to mail out your package.

There u are. Was wondering about u all day :) Nice to see u, Seren!

Hey GS, Looks like your lawyer has all the paperwork in order...You should be done NVC by April 1st week. Hoping the same for me.

Unlike you I have to wait for my IV bill to be generated in NVC system.

Serendipity - Did you mail the the DS-3032? I know you have the email sent to NVC. You might want to resend that email from different email accounts. Until the DS-3032 is accepted they will not generate the IV Bill.

I did queue and I do email every day.

I just got off the phone from NVC and was told they need the original Signature on the DS 2032 to generate IV bill.

My DS3032 was rec'd 03/23/09 at NVC and the rep told me it takes them about 5 days to process choice of agent.

Hopefully by Friday.

Serendipity,

Be very carefully with the IV bill. You must confirm with them before you pay it. I'm still in limbo waiting for NVC to generated my already generated IV bill. This is ridiculous. I received the e-mail with the IV bill on saturday but they still don't have it shown on their system and the supervisor told me not to pay the bill until they have it in their system because it can cause me a really long delay.

Anyone else approved in March that is still waiting on an NVC case number??

I think that maybe the CSC is on a delay or something because I call the NVC every day and they still have no record of receiving our case... I am getting frustrated because we have everything all ready to go!

Anyone have any advice??

Guys,

I was told today that our case was approved and sent on to the Manila embassy! I'm very excited but confused coz I thought I have to pay a fee, but the person reviewing our case told me no? Everything was fine and our case had already left! Did I miss something? When can my wife find out our interview date? Does the NVC set the date or the embassy?

We are going for a K3...

As you can imagine we are very excited.

If you are going for a K3, there is no fee that you need to pay NVC. You can get your case number from NVC (call them and give them your USCIS receipt number) and you can then send the case number by e-mail to the consulate where your wife will be interviewed. If they have received your case they will tell you what your interview date is. I have heard that even NVC can give you that information because the interview date is set even before the case leaves the NVC.

Why NVC is so inconsistent?

Yesterday they told us that the interview date would be May 22, today they said May 21.. Perhaps tomorrow it would be 20, then, 19, 18, 17..... Should I be happy?

I promise to love you in good times and in bad, with all I have to give and all that I am, in the only way I know how -- completely and forever......

I was wondering about that, too.. I asked the rep to repeat the interview date thinking that I just heard it wrongly but he said May 21. NVC is definitely slowing down. They are receiving cases at a faster pace from the service centers, and their new system has glitches to add to the matter.

Interview dates maybe moved around as NVC works with the embassy to schedule the open slots. Keep checking with NVC, you should be receiving an email from NVC with the interview date and time information. I got my email two days after the NVC scheduled the interview.
