aww that's cute. your husband is actually pitching in the work. im one of the few that has to do 99% of the immigration stuff. my hubby gets overwhelmed easily and starts getting pissy so i have to take the work away before he loses it.

Aruba is right, you can create the cover letter which you will put on top of your package which lists out everything that is included in the package. But you don't need to create the barcoded coversheets that need to be included as part of the package, because those can be printed out online.

No need to worry about the barcode generation at this point.

I was reading that the average number of days from the NVC receiving the package to the interview is 15 days for a K-3 in Costa Rica

I have a pit in my stomach... There is so much I need to do. The attorney is taking care of all the paperwork so I don't need to worry about any of that...

I noticed that most ppl get to their interview date usually 1-2 mons after NOA2. Fine by me as long as my husband is here by May (my birthday month) and above all I want him here for our first yr anniversary. It would be way tooooooo depressing to celebrate our anniversary on separate continents! Some ppl said they are 5 hrs, 4 hrs away by car or by plane! I wish we had that option. I would have visited every chance I got. Talk about a 14 hr flight difference b/w me and him That's why we decided to go the K3 route as well. I definitely don't want to be stuck in NVCH (H for hell) after being in VSCH for 230 days!!!

I'm just hoping to get approved period! But it really is nice to see others moving along in this grueling journey. Maybe once were approved we can join as well.

I called NVC, the operator told me it had been generated, back in february

so I went ahead and payed it

when we finally mailed the package

they tell me the bill is not paid

I insist with them it is, they check it showed paid on one page but not the other

and I finally get to speak to an supervisor she states the bill was never generated

and so I paid it too early

I tell her I been told to pay it

On march 4th i get an email requesting me to pay the bill for the first time

i called back and forth till yesterday my AVR states it has been payed on the 11th Feb

Today I got another email again requesting me to pay the bill again

As for my packages both AOS and IV package I don't know they arrived together

so here is to staying in limbo

And crying since i want to swap it to go to interview on the 31 march

and go to the states in April!!!!

what a mess.... what is the resolution and why is it taking NVCso long to fix the problem? have them credit you back and then you can pay it again.

Did the AVR say the bill was generated or just the operator?

The problem is, there is one system that tracks the payments, and another system that generates the bill. If you pay before the bill is generated, the first system will reflect paid, however the second system will not get updated, because a bill wasn't generated.

The only way to have it resolved is to have a supervisor get your records updated.

Aruba my prayers are with you and my karma stars can be shared ...I never run out of good karma I can only imagine how freakin frustrating this whole thing is like a cat and mouse game! I would be going nuts just like you are, but I agree with Q, now that you have a supervisor working on it, it should be resolved soon and hopefully in time for u to swap ur interviews.
