TRANSFER TO CSC AND DIVORCED

I SEND MY 751 ON AUG 08 ,1 YR EXTENSION LETTER ON AUG 29, BIO APP ON OCT 3 AND TODAY I JUST GOT

AND EMAIL FROM CRIS SAYING THAT I WAS TRANSFER TO CSC I DONT KNOW IF IS GOOD OR BAD, HOW LONG MORE

DO I HAVE TO WAIT ANYWAYS IM ABOUT TO FILE FOR DIVORCE MY HUSBAND IS WAITING FOR ME TO GET GC BUT HES

GETTING IMPATIANCE WE VE NOT FILE YET MY QUESTION IS IF I DO DO I VE TO LET CSC KNOW I BELIVE DIVORCE TAKES

MONTHS , I HONESTLY DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO ANY ADVICES IS ANYBODY IN A SITUATION LIKE THAT

I can't speak to the divorce part of your question, but everybody that filed in June, July, August at Vermont is being transferred to CSC. Since you are not divorced yet, or even separated (sounds like), you wouldn't be able to refile until your divorce decree came through anyway which will probably take a few months, so I would ask your husband for continued patience, and (at the risk of sticking my nose in where it's not wanted) perhaps try to work on the marriage instead of just jumping to the D word straight away, you both obviously still are on decent terms...

There was a thread this morning by simplylaura who had a divorce waiver, and was processed at a fast pace by CSC.

Mine was received on Aug 5 by VSC and NOA1on Aug 7, I got the "transfered to CSC" email on March 3. It's hard to predict how long it will take them since we havent heard anything from any of the transfers yet.

Hopefully you won't have an interview as it sounds like you guys are just "hanging on" together for the GC.

Also sounds like you will have to wait 5 years to apply for US citizenship.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

Well at least wait two more years from now anyway... she's already been here almost 3 years!
